rubbishystuff (2529) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - AUG 18, 2012
UPDATED: APR 8, 2016 Had at the Map Room as Bischoff Black lager. More of a dark brown. Not a bad beer just nothing to make it stand out. Missing some of the roasted flavors of other black lagers. Serving:Tap

Clear dark, dark ruby, tanned foam head. Little aroma, littel bit sweet in taste, malty for the rest. (Velp 201605)

DrNosha (2287) - Württemberg, Germany, GERMANY - DEC 19, 2015
0,5l Flasche mit Drehverschluss. Was soll das?! Dunkelbraune Farbe, wenig Schaum. Duft nach Malz, Rosinen und etwas Eiche. Es schmeckt nach Röstmalz, im Abgang leichter Rauch.

3.3
chinchill (4938) - South Carolina, USA - FEB 26, 2015
330ml bottle with 5.2% ABV listed. Just purchased but 14 months old. Looks and smells like a typical schwarzbier, albeit with a weaker head and smelling slightly sweeter. Flavor of a typical schwarzbier too, if also slightly sweeter. Medium-light body with near medium carbonation.

2.6
mmahut (1859) - CZECH REPUBLIC - JAN 8, 2015
Bottle. Clear dark amber body with low head. Aroma is grainy, hay, light carmel. Taste has medium caramel sweetness with medium noble bitterness. Body full, medium carbonation.

3.7
Erzengel (8624) - Wuppertal, GERMANY - DEC 1, 2014
* Old rating, 0,5l screw-top-bottle, best before 16.04.04. Würzig-dunkles Bier. Nette Anklänge an Röstmalz und dunkle Schokolade. Recht trocken mit einem kleinen Rest Süße für die Süffigkeit. Trocken herb-malziger und intensiver Nachgeschmack. Lecker!

2.7
ruigo (2706) - PORTUGAL - JUL 15, 2014
Shared a 50cl bottle. Pours a clear dark brown colour with a thin off-white head. Caramel, chocolate and malt in the aroma. Average carbonation and light to medium body. Medium sweet and light bitter taste. Overall, an average brew but not remarkable.

2.2
jmagnus87 (2912) - Rockford, Illinois, USA - MAY 11, 2014
Bottle poured into a shaker. Pours a dark brown with a ruby hue. Aroma of caramel, a little skunk and sweet grains. Taste is light bitter. Just barely a hint of Roasty malt. Other than that, it tastes like any standard crappy American macro. Super disappointed in this one. Not very good.

Beerhunter111 (20356) - P´Castle, GERMANY - MAR 21, 2014

3.2
JaBier (7871) - Capital City, Ohio, USA - FEB 20, 2014
Bottle shared by my brother. Clear chestnut brown in color with a thin beige head. Aroma of malt, caramel, chocolate, some roast and (strangely) honey nut cheerios. Malty and caramelly flavor with lager yeast character before a mild finish.
