Eyedrinkale (3214) - Astoria, New York, USA - DEC 13, 2008
Bottle. Starts fresh enough with crispy hops and a nice malt base but this beer is nothing more then a pilsner light, Watery and way too light.

puzzl (3260) - New York, New York, USA - DEC 8, 2008
Bottled. Surprised this only has 56 ratings, I thought this was pretty common. Also surprised it is so low. This is a pretty solid german pils no doubt. Crispy and crunchy, very easy drinking, the bottle was gone before I knew what hit me. Very solid.

jonas (7753) - Garching b. München, GERMANY - DEC 5, 2008
UPDATED: FEB 13, 2013 Bottle. Pale golden, heavily carbonated, white head. Grassy, metallic, light chemical hop nose. Lightbodied, crisp dry hops - fairly onedimensional though. Dry mouthfeel, fizzy. Grassy aftertaste.

bierkoning (13451) - La Tropica/Doarp, NETHERLANDS - NOV 20, 2008
Bottle from Café Morshuis, Albergen. Pale blonde. Soft grassy aroma. Firm grassy hopbitter flavor, lingering on in the longish aftertaste. Hints of apple and metal. Tasty pilsener.

DrDavid (957) - Johnson, Vermont, USA - OCT 23, 2008
(Bottle). Bready aroma. Pale golden body, medium white head. Slightly sweet flavor, typical bready/yeasty, some hay. Needs more bitterness, but still an ok pilsener.

2.9
MiP (15943) - Sønderborg, DENMARK - SEP 10, 2008
Bottle, 4.7%. Nicely dusty and malty aroma. Clear yellow colour, small stable white head. The flavour is malty and fruity with a quite rough bitterness. Long bitter aftertaste.

3.5
TURDFERGUSON (4058) - Durham, North Carolina, USA - SEP 2, 2008
Bottle from Sam’s. Pours a bright yellow orange with a small white lace. Nice, spritzy aroma of malts, hops, and honey. Flavor is more hops, good malt base, straw, pepper, a bit of yeast. I think this is what a classic german pilsener is supposed to taste like so I won’t take off too many points. Very easy drinking and a nice beer to have right after work. Don’t know if I’d buy again, but I’d gladly drink this again. I sort of undertand the low scores here, but I just wonder what people are expecting from this.

SHARKY (2) - , GERMANY - JUL 28, 2008 does not count
Think global, drink local. Great small business, big taste tradition. Has the classic middle German, pure, Pils taste. No chemicals allowed (or wanted). Not bitter, mild. Not flat, more like rolling hills. Great on a hot day or any time one craves a middle Pils.

subcell (96) - Portsmouth, Virginia, USA - JUN 29, 2008
This is a very average golden beer to me. I did not find this to be anything special yet again, if you buy it I’ll drink it!

fiulijn (20992) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - JUN 6, 2008
Draught in Germany
Pale blond color, German head. It has a light hop and honey aroma. Clean body, light malty flavor, strong bitterness. Easy.
