33cl bottle. Pours clear pale golden colour with a huge most good lasting white head. Aroma of mild aromatic hops, pale malt, grass. Taste of mild grassy and dry bitter hops, pale malt, easy and good!

From draft at Hotel Bischofshof in Regensburg. Clear gold, lightly sparkling, short white head. Extremely quiet aroma is cracker-y pale malt, starch, light apricot-lemon hop effect, cracked peppercorns, faint touches of metal / minerals and a subtle dried cheese / old hop quality. Clean and quenching and lightly sweet, juicy on the palate, lightly effervescent. Kind of muted and non-expressive, but clean and decently malty.

Absolut in Ordnung, wrnn auch recht unspektakulär. Angenehm in Hopfen ubd Getreide, frisch im Abgang, moderate Bitterkeit. Alles ok.

McTapps (6889) - Reutlingen, GERMANY - JUL 20, 2015
The beer has got a clear golden colour with a crisp body and steady head. Aroma of hops, citrus fruits. Taste of hops, citrus, bread and malt. Drinkable.

My Bottom Line:
This white apron Pilsener lays out bitter herbal hop lengths and polished cereals onto a fluffy and dry body.

Further Personal Perceptions:
-A creamy head of foam tops the clear gold.
-The flavor profile is balanced.
-The mouthfeel is very engaging.
-This may not be the most memorable Pilsener, but everything it does it does very well.

On tap at Bischofshof am Dom, Regensburg.

UPDATED: OCT 20, 2014 (Bue au Bischofshof am Dom): Même base maltée que la Original Helles mais plus tranchante avec le houblonnage et la finale.

(Keg at Bischofshof Bräustüberl, 20130515) The beer poured golden and clear. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had grass, herbalness and metallicness. Flavours were grass, malts, herbalness and bitterness. Aftertaste was bitter. A quite bitter and tasty pils.

KeefOz (1838) - Tarragindi, AUSTRALIA - APR 4, 2013
Draught at Haus Heuport Cafe-Bar-Restaurant, Regensburg (local beer). Poured a clear golden amber colour with a two-finger head that retained well and laced well. Very low carbonations. Aroma of sweet malt and floral hops. Taste of sweet malt followed by a hops bitterness. Light body. Short smooth pilsner finish.

500 ml bottle. Pours a vibrant yellow/gold with a huge bright white head that lasts and lasts before receding with some nice lacing. It is crystal clear and tons of tiny bubbles can be seen racing towards the top. The nose is typical of the style with a good malt/hop balance. The hops are grassy, and there is some fruitiness, sort of sweet lemony scent. The flavor also carries qualities of the smell, it is rich and malty, very pleasant, then a nice large hop bite catches you in the end. This is a very well made pils, very balanced, but with a unique character. Serving type: bottle Reviewed on: 03-12-2010 02:20:17
