From a Norwich Chavsda. Red with a half-arsed head. House rust, toffee, papery flying saucer hop. Toffee, red berry, toasted nuts, mellow hop pollen aroma. Fizzy and thin. Unadorned parting bitterness. Softer cashew and toffee popcorn for dessert. Acceptable as expected but suspect it isn’t the best beer brewed in Kent.

Na itt a hatos bitter pakk utolsó darabja. Igaz ami igaz a leggyengébb példány. Külsőre olyan, mint a többi : tiszta, vörösesebarna, vékonyka habbal.
Illata már árulkodik, élesztős, szolid komló és maláta. Íze is visszafogott, karamell erős fémes savanykás, kommerszes bukéval. Kevés komlós utóíz, közepesen gyenge keserűség. Kenyeres malátás lecsengéssel. Mr_Pink_152 (5109) - Lincoln, Lincolnshire, ENGLAND - FEB 21, 2015
Bottle at party. Amber colour. Caramel aroma, but really not much. Dull beer really. olliejobbins (1578) - Dorking, Surrey, ENGLAND - JAN 20, 2015
500ml bottle. Pours a clear chestnut/ruby with a few soapy bubbles for head. Aroma is weak malts, hops and a little caramel. Biscuity malts and hops with bitter finishing taste. StueyD (1584) - Heacham, Norfolk, ENGLAND - JAN 14, 2015
A mid copper coloured beer with a frothy white head. A light, pale caramel malt aroma to start then a fruitiness comes through. Dry mouthfeel. The taste starts off with a mildly bitter fruity hop flavour, which soon gives way to a sweeter malt flavour. The finish is led by the bitter hop fruitiness.

Bottle. Vibrant amber looking beer with a strongish white head. The aroma is lightly toffee and hopped, and the flavour is very strongly bitter, roasted and toffee. Overall a strongly flavoured beer, maybe too toffee and bitter after a while of drinking.

Variety pack from macro. This rating is influenced by a hard day at work on a hot Friday. Nice smoky bitter flavour. Amber in colour. Hit the spot. Meilby (11517) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - JAN 22, 2014

Pours clear deep golden with a off-white head. Aroma has notes of malt, caramel and citrus. Taste is light to medium sweet and light to medium bitter. Body is light, texture is thin, carbonation is soft.
Appearance: Clear copper/amber with finger thick ivory head.
Aroma: Biscuit, peppery, subtle caramel, fruitiness and floral.
Taste: Medium/high bitterness, low sweetness and low/medium sourness.
Palate: Thick coarse texture, light body, average carbonation, bitter abrupt peppery burnt malt dry finish.
Comments: Very bitter and seems a bit unbalanced. Tasty enough and glass lace. mike_77 (6734) - Breda, NETHERLANDS - SEP 24, 2013
UPDATED: MAY 20, 2016 Clear light brown colour. Floral hop in the aroma. Flavour is rather bland and weak and slightly metallic but has some light fruity notes and a dry, bitter hop finish.
