(Bottle) Pours a cloudy golden orange body with a medium-sized off-white head. Aroma of floral, orange peel, lemon, clove, coriander, and mustiness. Flavor of spicy yeast, citrus, and a touch of tobacco with a soft, dry finish.
22oz bottle 12/27/06 (Old Notes)-Pours dark golden with a small head. Aroma of spices, banana, and black pepper. Taste more like a hefe than a saison. This light bodied brew is not bad but missed the mark. Styles (2014) - Lincoln Park, Michigan, USA - DEC 6, 2011
Courtesy of Footbalm. Slightly hazy, golden yellow, white head. Tons of fruity and floral hops, funk, musty. Aroma very fantome-like. Flavor has big musty funk, light euro hop skunk. Mouthfeel gets flimsy at times, lack of carbonation really hurts score. DarkElf (3062) - La Jolla, California, USA - JAN 26, 2011
20-Apr-09 (22 oz bottle: Purchased 20-Sep-07 for $5.49 at BevMo in La Jolla, CA) More spicy than many saisons, flavors of pepper, orange rind, tart lemon citrus, apple, apricot, floral hops, modest breadiness, and plastic-like phenolics. Pepper and other spices in the nose, along with fairly prominent orange and apricot, plus some apple, lemon, and a touch of sour dough. Clean, spicy, zesty, mildly acidic on the light-medium bodied palate, with moderate carbonation and a refreshing nature, making this very easy to continue drinking. Hazy, golden in color, capped by half an inch of whitish head that settles to a thin ring and a scattered, dusted layer. Not a bad saison, and it’s held up well to 18 months of refrigeration. Very enjoyable. philbertk (1873) - Seattle, Washington, USA - MAY 19, 2010

Bottle. Poured a clear light orange color. The head was a few fingers high and reduced to a thin film relatively quickly. Smelled of nutmeg, ginger, and white pepper. Light bodied and dryish with moderate carbonation. I tasted pale malt, a bit of lime, and mixed spices. Not bad.

Clear amber with a foamy beige head. Aroma is cherry, honey, peach, and some tart. Taste is sweet and tart sort of a tea texture. Just a bit of roast finish. thejon375 (414) - Tampa, Florida, USA - MAY 8, 2009
Really becoming a big saison fan in this hot FL weather. Pours a hazy yellow amber with medium white head. Aromas of spicy malts and pineapples. Very bubbly on the palate with some spicy dried fruit notes. Very enjoyable. Butters (4059) - Richmond, Virginia, USA - MAY 3, 2009
Shared at Butters Big Blowout. Hazy golden pour with small particulate and wispy white head. Nose is sweet and spicy, like black pepper and rose petals. Flavor is like a hefewiezen, and bitter lemony finish. with large carbonation and a tart ending. ScottyP (425) - Brentwood, Tennessee, USA - MAY 3, 2009
Butters Big Blowout. Pours a hazy orange with off white head. Some cake floating around. Bready aroma with hints of citrus aroma, mild hop. Similar taste with carbonated bitter finish. Too much carbonation. MmmcKay (1052) - Brentwood, Tennessee, USA - MAY 3, 2009
Light, brown yellow in color. Faded fruit flavors. I agree that it isn’t very saisonish. . Not much farmhouse funk either. But not unpleasant at all. An easy drink. Just a super light ale
