3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle. Cloudy orange body with a sparse white ring of head. The aroma is quite refreshing and floral with spicy notes and bread. Flavour is somewhat watery and thin. There are some spicy notes along with pear and fruit flavours. Decent
bottle - Cloudy gold pour, spicy aroma with obvious coriander along with yeast, malt and a hint of fruit. The flavor is sweet, spicy and yeasty. There’s some alcohol presence. Medium bodied. It’s alright though underwhelming for the style. slowrunner77 (12895) - Reno, Nevada, USA - OCT 18, 2014
"this is an ok beer. it holds up slightly better to other beers of the style than their chocolate stout does. it does nothing to separate itself, however. maybe worth trying, but not going back to." GG (2332) - NorCal, California, USA - NOV 20, 2013
22oz bottle -
The beer pours out a pale golden yellow body, clear with a 1" white airy cap. Aroma is slightly sweet, a touch spicy, some corriander and rubber. Aroma has that candi-malt flavor blended with dried pitted fruit and not overly spicy. Residual sweetness is left behind which helps out the fruity notes come out a little more. Not bad, and a decent introduction to the style for a newbie. mrhoppy (1196) - Santa Clara, California, USA - JUL 17, 2010
I will just say I liked this but it needs to warm up because if you drink it cold there is a rubbing alcohol aftertaste. most of the other reviews explained it pretty well weather they liked it or not. Dickinsonbeer (5073) - Hoboken, New Jersey, USA - JUN 13, 2010
Bomber. Pours a hazy golden with a fluffy whtie head- fades a bit though. Aroma is toasty, spicy phenolics, honey sweetness and some off fruitiness- some banana and apple. Flavor is toasty malts, bready, grass, herbs spicy peppery phenolics and fruity ester with a moderate sweetness in the end. A bit too sweet and not dry enough.

Cloudy yellow pour with a white head. Aroma is citrus spicy yeast, a nit of alcohol. Grain on the nose and plalate. A little banana. Not terrible, not great. Snojerk321 (2984) - San Diego, California, USA - JAN 7, 2010
22oz bottle from BevMo. Pours a deep golden color with a faint orange hue. Nose was lightly fruity with some citrus, toasted malt and some grainy qualities. Finishes crisp and a little grainy. bsjay (54) - Oregon, USA - OCT 16, 2009
Not true to style and the coriander they mention on the label was nowhere I could find. The alcohol burn was up front and I could sense a wee bit of banana behind the very forward bitterness. Overall, unbalanced and with a sour finish. One of the few times Bison has disappointed. Delirium (670) - Falmouth, Cornwall, ENGLAND - JUN 15, 2009
Bomber. Pours slightly hazy orange with a thin white head. Odd combination of grass, fruit, coriander, grain, yeast, and alcohol. Objectively, I would say this is a bit harsh and unbalanced, and a pretty odd tripel. But subjectively I find the particular combination of flavors rather enjoyable, and would buy it again. Tasted at GABF 2008. Hazy orange pour with thin head. Nose of grains and coriander. Flavor is yeast, wheat, spices and coriander.
