Pours a nice light golden yellow. Aromas of hops, grass, and maybe malt. Taste is crisp with a nice mellow hop flavor. This is one of the better low-alcohol beers on the market. BelgianBeerGal (4134) - Panama City, Florida, USA - SEP 22, 2007
Bottle. Rather boring light. Pours a pale straw color with a small white head. Thin, watery mouthfeel but a little more flavor thatn typical lights. MiP (15960) - Sønderborg, DENMARK - MAR 4, 2007
Bottle, 2.8%. OK citric aroma. Clear yellow colour, OK white head. Thin mouthfeel and flavour. Quite rough bitterness. Boring, but not bad considering ABV. frankenkitty (2012) - Oak Lawn, Illinois, USA - MAR 1, 2007
Light-hazed golden with a temperate effervesce and a white head that fades to a scummy film. Pale malt and sour green grapes in the aroma, a bit dusty. A hint of metallica starts the flavor that is otherwise smoothly malted, and there’s a mild, herbal bitterness to finish. Palate is dry and rather chalky. Tastes bigger than 2.8%, but not much.

Bitburger is starting to be almost the favourite german pils for me, so I tried the low alc version. There is a bit of the same bite left, but just a little. It’s amazing how much a beer looses when you take a couple of % out. Not bad tho, just a little watery and a fraction of the nice hoppy afterburn of real Bitburger.

Its a 2.8% beer thats still better than BMC to me, grassy, abit grainy, nice flavor for a low alcohol brew, very drinkable. shrubber85 (11570) - Greenville, Indiana, USA - NOV 18, 2006
Bottle. Grain malt aroma. Golden yellow with moderate head. Light grainy malt flavor but it at least has a good beer flavor. One of the best low alcohol beers in Germany. vidbellegueule (30) - CANADA - JUN 14, 2006
bottle. nice blond color, good bitter for a 2.8 % beer. perfect for a big thirst. SHIG (4964) - Wasilla, Alaska, USA - FEB 10, 2006
Golden brown in color with foamy whitehead. Skunky grainy smell. Nice grainy light beer flavor. Lubiere (14133) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - DEC 10, 2005
New in Quebec supermarkets. Light golden lager with a thin creamy white head. Grassy malt aroma. In mouth, rather chalky malt residues, a bit bready, not all that bad, and close to the normal Bit. Medium bodied. Overall, a nice low carb. Bought at Rapido, Aylmer, 5.99 a 6 pack.
