The classic Bitburger - a mature and most agreeable beer - is brewed with the best of ingredients in the same traditional way it has been for many, many years. The result is delicately tart and pleasantly bitter - with a strong hop taste.

Bottle from SB. Pale yellow with a small white head. Malty and hoppy tones. malt, herbs and hops. Medium body with a balanced bitter finish.

Originally rated on 1/30/09. Kinda surprised here, a very average looking body with a very thin head, with spotty lace. Aroma was of sweet malts, flavor also had the sweet malt but it had a spice flavor from the hops, good balance.

beerstar88 (587) - Bavaria, GERMANY - MAY 7, 2017
Goldgelb, mit guter Schaumkrone. Malzig säuerlicher Antrunk, metallisch, gefolgt von bitteren Hopfennoten

Average tasting pilsener, and pretty much average overall. Not terribly bitter but more than I prefer. I probably won’t be drinking this again.

the sauger (81) - Quebec, CANADA - MAY 5, 2017
Canette de 500 ml. Couleur blonde avec un mince col. Arôme de malt, d’orange et de fleur. Goût sucré et fruité. Plus d’amertume que je le pensais mais pas tant que ça tout de même.

Davros IX (334) - Hertford, Hertfordshire, ENGLAND - MAY 3, 2017
2016 catch up - Bought to drink with my German friend while the kids played in a lido supervised by respective wives. It’s a mass produced pilsner and it left a strange sensation in my mouth after two bottles. It’s not something I enjoyed.

danioofp (112) - POLAND - APR 30, 2017
Butelka 0,5l jasne, cierpkie, lekko goryczkowe, prawie jak pils tylko mocniejsze, piana szybko znika, d?ugi posmak.

Dazka (116) - Milan, ITALY - APR 22, 2017
S: cereal, slight honey A: pale yellow, clear, minimal head T: medium sweetness, lightly bitter P: light body, lively carb

flemmingjuul (14) - Silkeborg, DENMARK - APR 21, 2017
Hopsy bitter Pilsner. A bit watery, and does not give a long taste. Not too bad, but nothing really stands out. Average but OK.
