Pours a finger of head on a hazy straw body. Aroma is grain and grass. Taste has a short watery start then an assertive porn and grapefruit bitterness shows up. Short finish. Texture is crisp. bartzluke (598) - Oklahoma, USA - MAY 27, 2015
12 oz pour from refrigerated bomber into tulip glass. Crazy fluffy cloudy head, clear, yellow, great carbonation. Medium body. A little sticky on the tongue. Really herby nose. Super bitter and herby taste. A little mulchy. A little too much earthiness for me. rproff78 (177) - - MAR 23, 2015
Very good single hop pale from bitterroot brewing. Well worth a try if you find it! Darkmagus82 (2302) - - JAN 30, 2015
Served on tap in a pint glass
Appearance – The beer is served a hazy golden color with one finger head of white foam. The head of the brew has a good level of retention, slowly fading over time to leave some rings of lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell – The aroma of the brew is heaviest of a wonderful mix of sweet citrus and fruity aromas mixed with a good deal of some more slightly dank hop smells of an herbal and pine nature. A bit of doughiness and some light notes of a floral nature are there as well, rounding out the smell.
Taste – The taste begins with a mix of nice bready flavor mixed with a little bit of a citrus and pine hop flavor and just the lightest amount of a fruity taste of apple and pear. As the taste moves on, the citrus fades, but the pine grows stronger and is joined by some flavors of a slightly more earthy and herbal hop flavor. With the bit of sweet that was present upfront fading, one is left with a more dry, but rather pleasantly hoppy flavor to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel – The body of the beer on the slightly lighter and crisp side with a carbonation level that was average. For the IPA and crisper flavors of the beer, the feel was rather nice and matched well the drier and hoppier tastes of the brew nicely.
Overall – A nice crisp Single hopped IPA. A great one to try if you have the opportunity.

Great beer. Like the appearance but the taste, aroma and palate make the beer. Bitter beet with grapefruit finish.

A: Pours a misty golden tan ale with a single finger of off-white head which slowly dissipates to a thick quilt of the same. Domineering lacing, thick like a beard.
S: Clean, grassy, soap suds, citrusy lemons. underlying grain bill is subtle. Nice beer. Delicious beer.
T: Relatively bitter ale with sweet hopping flavors. Good, grassy flavors. Decent with well balanced tones. The hop schedule allows for good appreciation of the capacity for the hop.
M: Medium with medium to high carb. Slick finish.
O: Well done beer. Fun ale with capacity to allow for sessionability. I like this beer.

Bottle. Nose immediately hits you with some floral aromas, then settles into some nice citrus elements. Taste is a little bitter, but light and quite refreshing. Hits the spot, though I think it’s slightly over carbonated. Mora2000 (6158) - McKinney, Texas, USA - AUG 16, 2013
Yellow pour with a large white head. The aroma is full of big pine notes with some orange and biscuit malt. The flavor is a mix of orange, pine and grass with a low amount of bitterness. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation. Beerandhockey8 (393) - Three Forks, Montana, USA - JUL 14, 2013
