On tap at Brewpub. Pale amber in color with lots of hops. Aroma is hoppy with lots of bitterness. Medium bodied. Very nice. Dogbrick (13012) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - SEP 2, 2003
This brew pours a lighter amber color with a medium and dense off-white head. Quick lacing. The aroma is lightly floral hops with a bit of citrus as well. Medium-bodied with hops dominating, but there is some malt left over to prop it up. The finish is nicely bitter. I liked this one, and I bet it is really good on the cask. Clear orange, white head. Hoppy aroma and fresh. Smooth and rich big hop flavor, and the round malt shows itself as the pint is consumed. Hops linger nicely. Fresh! Dorwart (2590) - Robbinsville, New Jersey, USA - NOV 23, 2004
Thin but very frothy/creamy head that lasts for a while. Light carbonation. Big succulent juicy hops aroma. Bit floral and a bit fruity. Color is a medium golden orange. Fruity flavor with a big helping of hops. Decent balance in the flavor. Finish is nice and bitter with a linger ing bitter aftertaste. A very good, hoppy pale ale. jcwattsrugger (12420) - Florida and, New Jersey, USA - FEB 12, 2006
UPDATED: JUN 28, 2006 on tap-pours a creamy to rocky, offwhite head that laces. Aroma was undetectable. Taste is malt, then hops with a slightly bitter hops finish. Nice.

Had this on tap at the brewery. Poured dark amber with smell and taste with a good amount of hops. Dickinsonbeer (5074) - Hoboken, New Jersey, USA - JUN 16, 2006
Tap and Cask at the brewpub. Both were very nice, although very different. Tap is very clean lgith straw color, hoppy aroma of citrus, light pine and orange. Clean flavor with a very nice harsh bitterenss for the style. Cask is a bit smoother overall, and the malt comes through a bit more. Bitterness is toned down slightly as well. Very well made APA that has lots of hops and a surprising bitterness. Jimmylib (169) - old bridge, New Jersey, USA - JUN 6, 2004

A descent pale ale; slightly soap-like flavor though. NIce deep orange in color with excellent white head. Prostman (1077) - Pennsylvania, USA - NOV 22, 2004
This was a very well rounded pale ale with all the characteristics of quality brewing. The color, flavor, and finish were all right, and this beer is worth a try.
