BJ’s Light Pale Lager might be the very best Light beer I have ever drank. It tasted like buttered bread. It might be a tie between this, and Lazy Mutt. dwyerpg (6630) - Las Vegas, Nevada, USA - OCT 10, 2011
Only had a little taster, but I was quite disappointed with this, especially given other’s comments. Very thin and plain and a bit funky actually. Not good. jb43 (1695) - Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA - SEP 9, 2011
(draft at BJs in Colorado Springs, 9/22/10). Clear gold color. Medium white head. Light sweet malt aroma. Flavor of the same. Short duration. Light dry finish. Thin texture. Moderate carbonation. Good lacing. ganache (6138) - New Jersey, USA - AUG 17, 2011
Draught in Indy. Pale yellow with a lacing white head. Both nose and mouth have a nice grainy/bready thing going on, very gentle light body with a smooth, almost “witty” bready aftertaste. Crisp and light but is a little hollowed-out (not soulless).

28 July 2011, tap. pale yellow, clear, steady bubbles. Sweet malty lager nose. Thin, slightly creamy body and fairly fizzy. Could be a bit more crisp. Has a dry biscuity flavour but much more sweet, light malt. Nice but I prefer a crisper, fizzier lager with a bit more bitterness.

On tap at BJs restaurant Kissimee, FL. Pours pale golden brown, medium white head, medium carbonation. Aroma of hay, citrus. This is a flavorful light beer, one of the best light beers that I have had. marcus (11075) - Sacramento, California, USA - MAY 27, 2011
On tap at BJs Sacramento. Pours clear yellow with a decent white head and a light floral aroma. There is a standard thin pale malt flavor with a light hop bitterness. Refreshing, but not much else. brokensail (16696) - Dublin, California, USA - APR 19, 2011
A: The pour is a clear straw color with a small white head that is not retained all that well.
S: Certainly a corn-laden aroma, but overall pretty decent. Sweet grain flavors are present and a bit of a toasted note to it. Some light grassy hop notes are there, much to my surprise.
T: Fairly light, but a decent level of sweetness that is certainly helped along by some corn and I would say rice, too. A moderate grain and bread flavor with a hint of floral hops and a touch of bitterness.
M: Light in body, certainly, with a moderate to high level of carbonation.
O: For a light lager, this was pretty good. I would much rather have this than Bud Light, Coors Light, etc. bb (10113) - Alamo, California, USA - APR 2, 2011
Draft. Straw beer with a whitish head. Light mineral aroma. Light malt and light floral flavor that lingers. Lighter bodied. PorterPounder (8442) - Tallahassee, Florida, USA - MAR 21, 2011
On tap at the BJs in Orlando. Medium golden pour, nice white head with a fair amount of lacing. Neutral aroma. Crisp flavor, some grainy notes, just a hint of honey sweetness. Clean, crisp mouthfeel. Good companion to dinner.
