Fairly weak pilsener. Looks good. Sweeter than I expected. Missing the bite that you would expect. Would not order again. Aubrey (3516) - Bellingham, Washington, USA - AUG 28, 2004
Clear and golden. Medium body, a little syrupy and thickish even. Very mild carbonation. Sweet and earthy malts -- a little too sweet, perhaps -- with hints of grains, cereal, and honey. Hops were herbal and a little flowery; only mildly bitter. Definitely had the Bohemian thing going on. Ernest (7890) - Boulder, Colorado, USA - AUG 25, 2004
Draught. Body is light yellow. Aroma is lightly malty (bread), lightly hoppy (flowers, herbs), with a hint of DMS. Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly bitter. Finish is lightly sweet, lightly bitter. Light to medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation. This is likely a different batch than when I first had it, and it’s a little cleaner in the aroma now (or so I think). Too sweet, a BJs tradition, and not really something that can compete with the real Czech deal, but it’s passable on its own. Terminus (3740) - St. Louis, Missouri, USA - JUL 6, 2004
