Draft. Amber color with white lacing. Strong dark fruit and caramel aroma. Medium bodied. Noticable alcohol content on the finish. Itzjerm (3175) - Taft, Tennessee, USA - APR 2, 2017
Thin fading head swirl back. Not like a barley wine. Hop forward. But not over done. Medium mouthfeel lots of carb. Easy drinking imperial red.

Strong and flavorful (full of flavor). If I ordered another beer from BJ’s, this might be the one I pick. horto008 (188) - Alabama, USA - MAR 4, 2017
Very very good. It did not at all strike me as a barley wine...More of a double IPA with a lot of malt. The hops on the nose were spicy and citrusy, and it was very balanced in terms of acidity, hops, and sweetness. It’s by far the best beer I’ve had at BJs (and I’ve tried most of them). 12 ounce draft at BJ’s restaurant in Pembroke Pines, FL for $6.25 Very good! dlovell2 (2381) - Columbia, Maryland, USA - FEB 13, 2017
Pours brilliant amber with an off white head. Caramel malt and pine aroma. Flavor is sticky sweet caramel malt with a ripe fruit flavor and Earthy Pine Finish. hopscotch (11451) - Vero Beach, Florida, USA - AUG 22, 2015
Draft... Clear dirty-orange pour with a mid-sized, creamy, white head. The aroma features components of resin, musky hops and (a light) toastiness. Full-bodied with soft carbonation. In the flavor, there is a nice balance struck between resiny, acrid hop bitterness and rich, malty goodness. Trends a wee bit toward the bitter side of balance. Acrid, moderately bitter, slightly boozy finish. hotstuff (5281) - Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA - NOV 28, 2014
Rated on 02-20-2013 at BJ’s in Jacksonville, FL. This draft beer has a small beige head that is mostly lasting, transparent golden body, very little carbonation, and a good amount of lacing adorns my glass. The aroma is pine, bitter hops, some alcohol, and caramel malt. The flavor is bitter, pine hops, caramel malt, and it has a dry finish. The mouthfeel is smooth and this beer is medium bodied. This is a hop head beer for sure! The hops are first and foremost with this beer. DenverLogan (1303) - North Bend, Washington, USA - OCT 12, 2014
