COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Brewed with imported Belgian malts and a blend of exotic spices, BJís Grand Cru has a malty character with a whirlwind of fruit and spice flavors. First brewed to celebrate the new milennium, BJís Grand Cru has been a seasonal tradition ever since. This Belgian-style amber ale is bottle-coinditioned and flavorful enough to age in the bottle for many years. Like a fine wine, the beer will change over time as some flavors mellow while others become more pronounced. For optimal aging, we recommend that you store BJís Grand Cru for at least one year at between 55 and 65įF. Or enjoy it now!

Pours slightly hazy amber with small off-white head. Clear aroma of fruit and malt, with subtle flowery and hoppy notes. Sweetish flavour of fruit and caramel malt, with estery notes and faint touches of hops. Sweet aftertaste. OK but a trifle too sweet for a BSA if you ask me.

[Tap] Pours a hazy golden color with a nice looking cap of white head. Yeasty aroma is mostly of clove and spicy malts. Taste includes banana, candi sugar, light brown sugar and tropical fruit. Alcohol heat is noticeable but not distracting. Definitely one of the better beers I have had from BJís. Tasting notes from 12/2011.

It poured a cloudy golden color with a small white head. The aroma was of fresh citrus and other fruits with some spices. The taste was sweet, malty, and a little bit tart. There was plenty of bread, fresh fruit and spices. Very nice.
