[Tap] Pours a hazy golden color with a nice looking cap of white head. Yeasty aroma is mostly of clove and spicy malts. Taste includes banana, candi sugar, light brown sugar and tropical fruit. Alcohol heat is noticeable but not distracting. Definitely one of the better beers I have had from BJ’s. Tasting notes from 12/2011. camborne (1029) - Hopkins, Minnesota, USA - APR 12, 2014
Yeasty sweet nose. Palate adds some faint citrus and lots of bread notes. pour slowly as mine had a lot of sediment after4ever (8025) - Mukilteo, Washington, USA - APR 5, 2014
750, corked and baled. Pours a hazy dark amber with a loose tan fizzy head that fades quickly. Big cloying sticky sweet nose. Brown sugar and gingerbread cookies. Sticky, slippery medium body. Brown sugar and gingerbread on the mid palate. Way too sweet. Cloying finish. jandd1983 (4680) - Wentzville, Missouri, USA - APR 2, 2014
It poured a cloudy golden color with a small white head. The aroma was of fresh citrus and other fruits with some spices. The taste was sweet, malty, and a little bit tart. There was plenty of bread, fresh fruit and spices. Very nice.

Hazy golden color, moderate head, good lace/retention. Aroma is Belgian yeast, sugar, spicy. Medium bodied, finishes sweet but not overly so, alcohol hidden well. Stoyke (4) - El Paso, Texas, USA - JAN 17, 2014 does not count
Smells delicious, sweet to start with a zesty and powerful finish i wish they'd sell it to go I hate waiting a year for it.

Pours a cloudy straw-golden color with a surprisingly small white head. Mildly spicy and bready nose. Soft mouthfeel that becomes astringent toward the finish. Spicy bread pudding with a booze topping. radio_nowhere (1474) - Maryland, USA - JAN 11, 2014
Draft at BJ’s Frederick, MD location served in a tulip glass. Amber-golden color with some white head. Aroma of candy sugar and fruity yeasty notes. Taste adds more malt sweetness, bready, light spices and some alcohol. Heavy body, moderate carbonation, syrupy with sweet finish. Definitely a sweet, yeasty Belgian strong, overall average nice beer.
