COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Brewed with imported Belgian malts and a blend of exotic spices, BJís Grand Cru has a malty character with a whirlwind of fruit and spice flavors. First brewed to celebrate the new milennium, BJís Grand Cru has been a seasonal tradition ever since. This Belgian-style amber ale is bottle-coinditioned and flavorful enough to age in the bottle for many years. Like a fine wine, the beer will change over time as some flavors mellow while others become more pronounced. For optimal aging, we recommend that you store BJís Grand Cru for at least one year at between 55 and 65įF. Or enjoy it now!

Draft at BJís Frederick, MD location served in a tulip glass. Amber-golden color with some white head. Aroma of candy sugar and fruity yeasty notes. Taste adds more malt sweetness, bready, light spices and some alcohol. Heavy body, moderate carbonation, syrupy with sweet finish. Definitely a sweet, yeasty Belgian strong, overall average nice beer.

Great aroma. Very clear appearance. Great flavor, Vertu Belgian in character. Great example of a Grand Cru. Low carbonation, and no lashing though.

Belgian yeast, straw, and some citrus in the aroma. Flavor is pretty standard Belgian tripel, with candy sugar, banana, and bread. Alcohol and some spice in the finish. Nothing spectacular, but pretty good.

3/11/13. On tap in Jax - St. Johnís Town Center. Mostly clear golden pour with a small off-white head that fades to a ring. Sweet, fruity esters in the aroma with sugars and a bit of a chemical bite. Very sweet sugary, fruity, and estery flavor that lingers sweer with a dose of booziness. Eh.

On draught at brewpub. Pours a golden color with white head. Big eatery aromas. Medium body. Slightly sweet pale malt flavor balance with Belgian yeast character. Late alcohol finish. Seems like a smooth tripel. OKAY.

Hazy yellow pour with little head and mild carbonation. Faint citrus aroma. Fresh citrus taste and feel with a mild bite. Good beer for yard work on a hot day. Not so great in the middle of winter.
