Belgian yeast, straw, and some citrus in the aroma. Flavor is pretty standard Belgian tripel, with candy sugar, banana, and bread. Alcohol and some spice in the finish. Nothing spectacular, but pretty good.
Tap at BJs, Charlottesville. Pours golden, slightly hazy. Flavor is coconut milk, glue, banana, alcohol. Reminds me slightly of a saki. Not a bad offering at all. dsimpson (1) - - NOV 11, 2016 does not count

Pours cloudy orange. Thin white head. Aroma of orange juice, banana, apricot, spice and roses. Taste is same with apple and bubblegum. Malts are roasty and smooth. Finish is boozy, hot, spiced and flowery. Mouthfeel is medium, oily and highly carbonated. PartyFowle (954) - - APR 16, 2015
Draft, Maker’s Mark barrel-aged edition. Cloudy apricot, topped with a whisper of pure white froth. Green aroma. Unripe pear, fresh cut grass, green apple, vanilla. Bright, sweet, fruity, refreshing. The flavor goe back and forth. Sometimes it’s too boozy; sometimes it’s perfect. At the moment, it’s got a heavy alcohol flavor tnat hits almost like vodka with heat and harshness at the sides of the tongue. Beer-related stuff is there as well: green apple, pear, roses, vanilla, new oak. A touch of brown sugar and butter from the bourbon as well. Medium-light body, mild carbonation. A little heat on the tongue, with mild bitterness at the finish. Not as hot as 10 percent would suggest. Sneakily boozy. Tasty stuff. Bought a glass then bought a growler. Poured up on tap at the Mesa, AZ location with a clear gold body that supports a thin white head. The aroma offers up sugary prunes and peach and a light amount of dates to go along with some Belgian yeasty spices. The taste starts smooth and soft with plenty of sweetness that heads quickly into sweetened spicy Belgian yeastiness. To midway the fruity esters jump forward where I’m getting peach, pear, apple and a sense of dates, honey and light boozy chemical notes that take this into the finish. Nice sipper.
