Pretty good and refreshing German style hefe. Light sweet taste, clove and banana aroma and finish with some spice. Solid hefe. darlaplans (1) - Painesville, Ohio, USA - MAR 15, 2017 does not count
I have tried many microbrews and Hefeweizen style beers and this one is up there with my favorite, Weihenstephaner Hefeweissbier. Very similar to Hefewweissibier with the same cloudy golden-yellow wheat beer color and white foamy head. You can smell a light hint of cloves with a refreshing banana-like after taste. Pricey but worth it.

On tap BJ’s, JAX. Spicy clove aroma with a tiny bit of banana and Belgian phenolics. Hazy yellow under a lasting beige flannel blanket. Delicate herbal banana and sweet wheat malt flavour with moderate clove phenolics. Interestingly different than in the nose. Almost no bitterness. Moderate carbonation, smooth.
