On tap: The aroma is a nice combination of ginger, cinnamon, and nutmeg. It’s a transparent amber with small off-white head. The flavor starts with cinnamon and ginger with some faint caramel in the background. The finish has an increases spice presence with nutmeg and clove. Light bodied with mild carbonation. A solid pumpkin beer. argo0 (14127) - Washington DC, USA - NOV 24, 2007
(Pinellas Park) Crystal clear amber body with off-white head. Aroma is moderately sweet, nutmeg, some allspice, clove. Taste is medium sweet, caramel, some allspice, light nutmeg. Light body. With the aroma, I was expecting something special, but the flavor really let me down. desurfer (1302) - Melbourne, Florida, USA - NOV 22, 2007
Deep amber body with little head. Aroma of pumpkin and nutmeg with some sweetness. Flavor is chock full of pumpkin goodness, little hoppiness and a well-rounded sweetness. Definitely good if pumpkin ales appeal to you. lb4lb (2587) - Austin, Texas, USA - NOV 13, 2007
Pours a nice amber. Smell is robust and lovely. Big pumpkin spice flavor with cinnamon and nutmeg seeming evident. Taste is very thin, muted and watery, but the pumpkin flavor that shows is still nice. Very pumpkin pie like in the flavor that is there. Drinkable, nice attempt, that would be great with a big more boldness. nick76 (4399) - Tampa, Florida, USA - NOV 13, 2007
UPDATED: NOV 1, 2009 The aroma was more spicy than pumpkin like. That is not to say there was none because there was definitely some. There was also caramel malt but not much in the way of hops. The appearance was amber with an smaller head. The flavor had more pumpkin that the aroma lead on but it was very similar to it. The palate was OK. I love pumpkin beers so this seemed quite good to me.

On tap at BJs. Copper brown with a fizzy white head. Pumpkin and malt aroma. Taste of pumpkin and spice. Better than most pumpkin beers, but that’s not saying much. Rotorhead87 (119) - Temple, Texas, USA - OCT 28, 2007
Had this as a small sample, draft.
It definitely has a pumpkin flavor too it. Not sure what else to say about it, but it was definitely good. GG (2332) - NorCal, California, USA - OCT 24, 2007
Not the worst pumpkin beer I’ve ever had, but still I find them lacking. Perhaps I’m expecting a bit more sweetness to come forward and since it never does, I’m left slightly disappointed. Either way, this wasn’t a bad beer at all. Aroma is slightly vegetative, perfumy with enough nutmeg to notice. Appearance is a light amber color, off-white head. Flavor was a bit green, vegetative with some subtle cinammon and nutmeg spices to notice but not overpower. A bit watery, I felt if it were more creamy, with a little more sweetness left in it it could have been better. But, still...not bad. kp (10882) - Woodstock, Georgia, USA - SEP 1, 2007
