Reddish orange in color; very little head. Aroma of sugar and pumpkin. Not terribly complex. Sweet, brown sugar notes not as spiced as most pumpkin ales. Very drinkable and quite enjoyable. starkmarvelo (36) - Texas, USA - OCT 14, 2012
BJ's Pumpkin Ale
A- no head. Clear brown w. orange hue. Lots of bubbles, kinda watery looking.
S-Pumpkin, nutmeg, cinnamon, malt sweetness. Smells like Pumpkin Pie.
T-Nice brown ale base with good amount of malt sweetness. This is a rare pumpkin beer that has more pumpkin flavor than cinnamon and nutmeg, which are there and blend very well. Great creamy pie-like flavor.
M- thin to medium with good amount of carbonation. Great creamy pumpkin after taste.
O- Excellent pumpkin flavor, great aftertaste. Easy drinking.

Sampled at the brewhouse. Like most of their brews, disappointing, and really only sampled it for the rating. Taste is weak. Served ice cold, which probably killed it. Bockyhorsey (2638) - Mesa, Arizona, USA - NOV 12, 2011
Could really small the pumpkin on the nose and not oversweets. Orange pumpkin body color with white head. Decent flavor not as much starch as most I ve had before. Smooth berr on palate with out a nasty aftertaste on palte. Good pumkin brew dyetube (1378) - Hurst, Texas, USA - NOV 12, 2011
On tao at bj’s in Allen. Pours a rich amber with a thin off white head. The aromas are pumpkin, cinnamon and dough. the mouthfeel is spicy and slighty dry with a medium body. Cheers!

On tap from BJ’s in Huntington Beach. Reddish amber color in the glass with a strong pumpkin aroma. Taste is strong pumpkin with good mix of spice. Smooth finish. I definitely enjoyed it. JoeTheYounger (1195) - Lake Arrowhead, California, USA - OCT 28, 2011

On tap at BJ’s in Houston (Brewed by St Arnolds). Pours amber with a white, short lived, foamy head and soda like carbonation. Aroma is of pumpkin, spices and caramel malt. Full, smooth body. Taste is similar to aroma. Short, smooth finish. Good brew. bpreo (3011) - Eugene, Oregon, USA - OCT 25, 2011
I tried this at the Eugene location as part of a sampler. Great underwhelming pumpkin taste. One of the better Pumpkin Ale’s I have ever had. monk191 (2022) - Portland, Oregon, USA - OCT 21, 2011
Smells great. Taste is not as interesting. Good beer, but finishing is harder then the first few sips.
