Pours a orange almost copper color. Aroma of pumpkin spice with nutmeg. Taste of simple pumpkin pie with mild sweetness and minimal spice throughout. A decent venture in a pumpkin seasonal beer. fiulijn (21516) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - DEC 9, 2009
Draught at BJ Desert Ridge, AZbb (9790) - Alamo, California, USA - DEC 1, 2009
Hazy amber color. Very light cinnamon aroma. Basic Ale, lean, with a very light sourness and light cinnamon touch. Correct bitterness. The cinnamon being so light, this beer is not as bad as other pumpkin ales.
Draft. Rich amber beer with an off-white haed. Pumpkin-pie spice aroma. Pumpkin-pie spice flavor with sweet malt. Medium bodied. Sugary malt lingers with pumpkin pie spices. mar (5458) - Dallas, Texas, USA - NOV 24, 2009
Amber with a cream head. Pumpkin, nutmeg and other spices on the nose. Decent on the palate and a bold flavor of nutmeg with a pumpkin finish. AmEricanbrew (7080) - Same Trailer, Different Park, Louisiana, USA - NOV 20, 2009
thirdeye11 (6162) - Dallas, Texas, USA - NOV 17, 2009
Clear glowing amber with a white head. Big spicy canned pumpkin pie filling aroma. Light body. Strong pumpkin pie spice flavors with little malty or yeasty richness to add body and smooth some of the sharp spicyness. [email protected]
(draught at Plano location) pours clear orange-yellow with spare head. Nose of pumpkin mash, cinnamon, nutmeg, and star anise. Taste is heavily spiced, cinnamon, raw pumpkin and a faint trace of lager hops. Finishes slightly creamy but also bitter like hairspray. Honest not bad just a little over spiced and pedestrian. Draught at BJs San Jose. Gold with a light orange tint and a thick head that leaves some clingy lace. Pie spices and fleshy pumpkin in the aroma. Start a bit bland and finishes sweet with a thin body. Not much malt flavor and just a little spice in the beginning. Watery texture. Not offensive, but to bland and light for a pumpkin ale. I guess I just like the style thick and malty. daknole (11048) - Scottsdale, Arizona, USA - NOV 5, 2009
Clear amber. Smells like fresh baked pumpkin pie. Flavor is sweet and has s dose if spicy hops to go with the pumpkin pie spices. Nice. BrewingFan (251) - Texas, USA - OCT 25, 2009
LIquid Pumpkin Pie! From beginning to end, this looks, smells, and taste like pie, almost unnatural. This uncanny likeness is the only drawback from this beer. redlight (2325) - Orlando, Florida, USA - FEB 10, 2009
Big spicy nose. Pours a light amber with a solid white head. Heavy spice flavor, cinnamon, clove, allspice, mild pumpkin flavor, not bad. A little too spicy though.
