Clear glowing amber with a white head. Big spicy canned pumpkin pie filling aroma. Light body. Strong pumpkin pie spice flavors with little malty or yeasty richness to add body and smooth some of the sharp spicyness. [email protected] Plano

On tap Woodland Hills, Ca: Dark copper hue with no head. Huge spicy aroma like many holiday beers, my Aunt's pumpkin pie. Tones of clove, cinnamon, nutmeg, mild hops, and roasted malt. Gutwein like spices marry well with medium malt levels. Very light bitterness on finish. No pumpkin taste on palate. Thin-bodied but still slighty chewy, weird. Unique, this style of beer. The spices are a bit too much.

On tap: The aroma is a nice combination of ginger, cinnamon, and nutmeg. It’s a transparent amber with small off-white head. The flavor starts with cinnamon and ginger with some faint caramel in the background. The finish has an increases spice presence with nutmeg and clove. Light bodied with mild carbonation. A solid pumpkin beer.

This is a pretty solid pumpkin beer that isn’t overpowering in the pumpkin. The body is decent but not something I want too much of.

Tap BJs boardman. Darker pale like iced tea. Spicey nose. Yes, some pumpkin spice but its never overdone. Quite mild on the spices and not overpowering like so many pumpkin beers, that typically do not even have pumpkin in it. I don't like pumpky beer is general but I found this quite enjoyable for a change. It even had shades of tartness lurking in the background. In the end, I think I could actually taste the pumpkin. Yes, probably on e of the better pumpkin beers I've tasted. Well balanced pumpkin brew. Thanks!

(draught at Plano location) pours clear orange-yellow with spare head. Nose of pumpkin mash, cinnamon, nutmeg, and star anise. Taste is heavily spiced, cinnamon, raw pumpkin and a faint trace of lager hops. Finishes slightly creamy but also bitter like hairspray. Honest not bad just a little over spiced and pedestrian.

On tap at the Allen, Texas location. The beer pours an orange color with a white head. The aroma has a lot of cinnamon notes, as well as some nutmeg and pumpkin. The flavor is a bit different. I get the pumpkin notes once again, but the clove character also really comes through. There is also a good bit of cinnamon in the flavor. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation. My main complaint is that like all beers from BJ’s, the beer was served way too cold and also in a frozen glass. It needed to warm up for about 10 minutes before the flavors begin to come out.

Taster - BJs Brewhouse - Seattle, WA – Orange in color for sure with a pumpkin aroma and flavor. This was a decent attempt at a festive beer. The spices in this beer where pretty above average for a pumpkin beer.

Clear, ruddy, medium brown. Thin head, bubbly on the side of the glass. Sweetish, perfumy-spice aroma. Dominated by soft cinnamon tones. Dryish with the sweetness implied by the spice rather than actual. Lightlsh body. Cinnamon roll finish. BJ’s, Tallahassee.
