Very pleasant. Strong pumpkin and spice aroma. Almost pastry-like. Nice brown color with an orange tint. Foamy head. Average weight palate with good carbonation. Smooth character. Good blend of flavors resting on pumpkin and spice. Maybe nutmeg? I believe it would go well with dessert.

On tap at BJs Brewhouse (Citrus Park, FL). Pours a clear amber color with thin off-white head. Aroma is pumpkin, spice, nutmeg, some hints of cinnamon. Flavor is more pumpkin than spice with notes of malty sweetness, dark fruits. Generally light to medium body with a fruity and slightly spicy finish.

Sampled at the brewhouse. Like most of their brews, disappointing, and really only sampled it for the rating. Taste is weak. Served ice cold, which probably killed it.

Barreras (1687) - Diamond Bar, California, USA - JAN 11, 2010
Pours a orange almost copper color. Aroma of pumpkin spice with nutmeg. Taste of simple pumpkin pie with mild sweetness and minimal spice throughout. A decent venture in a pumpkin seasonal beer.
