BJ's Pumpkin Ale
A- no head. Clear brown w. orange hue. Lots of bubbles, kinda watery looking.
S-Pumpkin, nutmeg, cinnamon, malt sweetness. Smells like Pumpkin Pie.
T-Nice brown ale base with good amount of malt sweetness. This is a rare pumpkin beer that has more pumpkin flavor than cinnamon and nutmeg, which are there and blend very well. Great creamy pie-like flavor.
M- thin to medium with good amount of carbonation. Great creamy pumpkin after taste.
O- Excellent pumpkin flavor, great aftertaste. Easy drinking.

Tap at Charlottesville location. Hefty pumpkin pie spice aroma - clove, nutmeg, cinnamon. Quite nice. Flavor is weak: light spices, bready malts. Not much to the flavor.

Draft in a flight at BJís-Florence. Pours a cloudy orange color with a small off-white head that leaves ropes of lace in the glass and an uneven film atop the liquid. Drinks like a sweet-leaning pumpkin pie; notes of nutmeg, light cinnamon, allspice, graham cracker, vanilla, and caramel. Subtle earthiness. Medium-bodied, with moderate carbonation and a sweet, spicy mouthfeel. Pumpkin ale on in May? Why the fuck not?

"if youíre in the mood for pumpkin and spice, this is your beer. Not as bad as some of the pumpkin flavored pee water out there (Blue Moon Harvest Moon). This as expected, and maybe a little too spicy, but the spices are tasty and the beer is exactly what was expected. No more no less."
