Draft. Clear dark amber IPA. Strong hop aroma, medium body, thin head. Well balanced IPA with lots of flavor. Better than expected.

On tap 5 oz. sample at BJ's Restaurant and Brewhouse in Vienna (Tyson's Corner), VA. Clear, bright medium amber with a creamy off-white head and very good lacing. Aroma of tangerine, tropical fruit, pine and caramel. Taste of caramel, tropical fruit, grapefruit and pineapple. Full/medium body and low/medium carbonization. A fine fruity West Coast style IPA with a nice nix of hops and a rich body. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Tap at Sacramento Venue. Pours ruddy amber with a slight white head. Citrus aroma. Med body. Citrus and caramel flavors. Decent amount of hop. Nice drink. Finishes firmly bitter.

Not bad... But not really awesome either. It's a decent IPA, but unfortunately for BJ's we live in a beer world that is full of wonderful IPAs all around us. It's citrusy, it's piney, and it's drinkable, but that's about all it has going for it.

Draft at restaurant in Frederick, MD. Served in a footed pilsner glass, clear ambery-golden color with white head. Aroma of citrus/pine/slight fruity hops with malt backing. Taste seems to lean more pine/earth bitterness and caramel malt sweetness. Light body, moderate carbonation, bitter, sweet with equal finish. Strange enough not a huge hop step up from their pale ale, just an okay IPA.

On tap at the new BJ’s in Mission Valley. Pours a golden blonde, hazy. Nose is hops, citrus, earth, floral. Flavor is mainly bitter all the way through, with only a hint of malt. Medium bodied.

DialSquare (5119) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - JAN 12, 2014
On tap from the Tallahassee restaurant. This was my favorite of all of the BJs sampled: floral, caramel, crisp, resin, pine. Good balance, easy drinking. 7.4

Tap. Clearer amber orange. Citrusy, piney, slight vanilla in the aroma. Pine, but more grapefruit in the flavor. Straightforward, hoppy and fairly clean. Medium to lighter body.

At BJs brew house. Pours golden amber with a thin head that sticks to the glass. Very little immediate hoppy flavor with a slight slight malt. Then the pine hoppy flavor builds and finishes with a smooth citrus hoppy. And the next sip is the same- very little hops then a build after air hits the mouth after swallowing. ---Rated via Beer Buddy

Mineral taste and nose. Smells like a rusty nail or copper penny. Taste is bitter. Slight juiciness. But terrible finish
