Draft at Desert Ridge Phoenix. So I’m not sure why this beer hasn’t been rated higher...I really enjoyed it. Remember, the objective of the restaurant/brewery is for you to drink/spend more. This beer definitely had me askin’ for a second and third!!! 24 karat with a nectarine tint, this beer supported a 1/2 inch eggshell head. Sugary aroma and caramel taste that includes hints of roasted nuts and just enough citrus-laden hops for balance. Solid. Tmoney99 (14455) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - FEB 7, 2008
Draft at Orlando brewpub. Poured clear dark amber color with an average creamy white head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Moderate toasted nutty malty aroma. Medium body with little carbonation. Medium balanced toasted flavor with a medium bittersweet finish of moderate duration. Drinkable brew that met my expectations. kp (10882) - Woodstock, Georgia, USA - SEP 1, 2007

On draught at the Columbus location. This beer is a mostly clear yellow/gold color with a medium thin and short-lived off-white head. Spotty lacing. Caramel, citrus and mild hops in the nose. Light-bodied and moderately carbonated with flavors of toasted malt, fruit and hops. The finish is soft with sweet malt and leaves a light spicy hops aftertaste. Above average overall. sliffy (2040) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - JUL 19, 2007

6/28/2007: BJ’s Maibock... Golden-orange color with dense lacing. Has a moderate level of carbonation made of tiny bubbles. Aroma and flavor have toasted malt, creamy citrus (tangerine/clementine). Mild to moderate level of bitterness and some alcohol in the flavor as well. Medium-full body. Smooth and creamy on the palate. This is a very drinkable Maibock.POD (198) - USA - JUN 9, 2007
Draught sample at BJ’s Restaurant Brewhouse in Columbus, Ohio. Rating #4 for this beer...
On tap seasonal at brewhouse in Polaris, OH. Golden color with lots of bubbles. Slight white bubbly head. Not much aroma other than faint sweet hops. Flavor was light and sweet hops. Alchohol was well hidden. Finish went from sweet to bitter for a refreshing ending. I’d order it again. Ratman197 (14822) - Arvada, Colorado, USA - MAY 13, 2007
