Sampled on draft at the Short Pump location. Poured medium towards dark amber, nice white head. Aroma focused on caramel malts. Flavor matched, caramel and a bit toasty, a touch sweeter than expected. Hint of teutonic floral hops, but faint. Not bad, wish it had been drier.

12FL OZ ($ ???) had this with my meal, was pretty good but I did switch to the IPA when it was done. Good beer but not very close to the real deal.

Draft at the Tanforan location near SFO airport. Rich malt, with a beautiful clear amber with slight tan head that lingered. Taste was moderate malt with medium full mouthfeel from nice roundness. Very slight floral background. I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed this!
