UPDATED: SEP 4, 2012 Draft...GABF ’06... This beer rocks!...Clear amber ale with a mid-sized, creamy, khaki head. Terrific retention. Smells like a marriage of smoked malt (bacon), caramel malt and dark raisins. The flavor is mildly tangy, lightly smoky, gently sweet and a little fruity (banana & pear). Medium-bodied with a creamy mouthfeel and fizzy carbonation. Tangy, smoky finish. World class experiment! 1FastSTi (3358) - Glendale, Wisconsin, USA - OCT 2, 2006
GABF 2006. From BJs Portland location. Pours to a glowing amber body with a lasting tan head. The aroma is strangely smokey malt. The flavor is a smoked malt and light banana. Moderate palate, alcoholic. MIBRomeo (2579) - Wisconsin, USA - OCT 2, 2006
