Rich and creamy, deep brown pour with an excellent beige lace. Milk chocolate nose. Sweet and chocolaty flavor. An ample dose of hops lend a bitter but mildly unfolding finish. Lingering roasty bitterness. Quite good. TBone (17699) - Pori, FINLAND - FEB 22, 2017
Tap at BJ’s, Austin. Dark opaque, good creamy brownish head. Very light toasted aroma. Medium-bodied, smooth. Coffeish, toasty malty flavor. Easy but clean mouthfeel. Impy for beginners. dlovell2 (2172) - Columbia, Maryland, USA - FEB 13, 2017

Clear dark brown to black color, dense tan lasting head. Sweet, malty, light estery, alcohol taste. Alcohol, estery aftertaste. Medium full mouthfeel, medium low bitterness. Malty, sweet scent.
On tap BJ’s, JAX. Chalky vanilla roast barley aroma with a little dark chocolate. Opaque black with hazy garnet highlights under a lasting, ruddy beige nitro head. Sweet vanilla flavour with faint red fruit accents and a dark chocolate finish. Overly sweet and with barely any bitterness to balance. Medium light body, smooth, low carbonation.

Quite sweet. Marshmallow, lightly roasted coffee, whites chocolate. Minimal hop bitterness. Pretty average hershiser2 (3478) - Charlottesville, Virginia, USA - NOV 12, 2016
Tap at Charlottesville location. This is an imperial stout? Pours not quite black - definitely can see through it. No smell. Taste is... somewhat unpleasant. Liquor, some chocolate, some coffee. A little sweet. jsporrer (1040) - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - NOV 6, 2016
On tap @ BJ’s Restaurant & Brewhouse. Pours a dark brown with a thick creamy tan head. Thick and creamy body. Lightly bitter malt flavor. Nothing special. Not that enjoyable. koleminer20 (3704) - Ann Arbor, Michigan, USA - SEP 29, 2016
On nitro at BJ’s in Covina. Thanks work. The pour is a typical nitro pour but as it recedes it gets light and more of a ruby tinted dark brown. Thick khaki colored head and good lace. The aroma is heavy on the malt. There is a light sweetness to it and a bit of metallic to take it out. There is a decent amount of alcohol here. The flavor is not that great. There is a bright alcohol up front l followed by a bitter roast and a lingeringly sweet chocolate malt. It’s definitely not really what I was hoping for. The mouth feel is thin and watery with a light carbonation and a lingeringly metallic chocolate aftertaste. This could be a lot better. r464 (2362) - Earth, Pennsylvania, USA - SEP 3, 2016
Very dark with a nitro tan head. Creamy and full, char and roasted malt, a good bit of cocoa, and some coffee. Fairly heavy body, one to drink slowly.
