Had on tap at the Greenwood, IN version. Good aroma, but weak flavor. Could have been better.

Tap in Boulder. Cask conditioned version. Pours pure black with a great head. Aroma is vanilla with a slight Irish cream smell. Flavor is vanilla, liquor, and brandy. Velvety palate. Awesome beer.

Draught. Body is reddish-brown. Aroma is lightly malty (chocolate, caramel), with a very strong note of vanilla. Flavor is moderately sweet, moderately acidic. Finish is lightly sweet, moderately acidic, lightly bitter. Light to medium body, watery texture, soft carbonation. Woof, another overly-spiced cask creation...this one’s almost decent, but just toooooo much vanilla (an aroma I love, don’t get me wrong). Seems like the porter is struggling underneath it all. Quite tart.

Served on cask at BJ’s, Boulder. Pours black with no head. Light vanilla aroma. Thin watery flavor with nothing but vanilla. Not much else.
