Spicy and fruity with a mild effervescence, but with such a high ABV, revenge comes swiftly. Beware of the Trulock!

22 oz bottle shared with the group from notes. Pours a clear golden color with a small off white head. The aroma and flavor have sweet malts, fruity esters, yeast, honey, candied fruit, pretty decent tripel.

22 ounce bottle thanks to Bradley and Thomas. Orange pour with some definitive banana notes and that overall triple taste.

Bottle. Pours a hazy golden color with a moderate frothy off-white head that diminished slowly with good lacing. Good spice and fruit aroma. Medium to full body with a sticky texture and soft carbonation. Full complex sweet flavor with medium to heavy sweet finish of moderate duration. Very interesting brew.

This bottled brew from a bottle shop poured a small sized head of foamy fine to medium sized white colored bubbles that were long lasting and left behind a typically carbonated transparent weak orange colored body and an excellent lacing. The mild aroma was straw and candy. The mouth feel was tingly at the start and at the finish with a lingering candy aftertaste. The nice flavor contained notes of candy and hops. A decent one that I would consider drinking again.

Draft: Cloudy yellow with a short white head. Sweet, fruity, banana aroma... Flavour is banana, clove, wheat malt... Mild alcoholic bitter...... Tastes a lot like a hefeweizen. Very enjoyable.

Draft. Orange, banana, clove and malt aroma. Cloudy golden yellow with small head. Sweet orange/banana malt flavor. Mild astringent alcohol finish. Very nice - has quite a bit of weizen characteristics.

I love strong Belgian style ales. I saw this on tap at the brewery in Irvington in Indy. The aroma was, for some reason, just not very nice. A little stale smelling. However, that was not how the beer turned out. It was asolutely great. Floral fruity taste that really masked the high ABV. One of the best Belgian Ales I’ve had brewed locally. I immediately bought a growler.

Draft to taster at Black Acre. Looks solid; a cloudy golden orange with off-white lacing. Smells of Belgian yeast, clove, and mild pear. Tastes like it smells with an average mouthfeel. Okay.
