(500ml bottle) Aroma: Cherry and some roastiness, but the aroma is not very intensive, sadly. There is some alcohol, but only little. Appearance: Brown and clear, definitely not enough black. Medium, tanned, solid head. Taste: Sweet - from those cherry aromas, at the finish slightly bitter. Tastes somehow like cherry liqueur, roastiness is at the background. Like the aroma it is not intensive at all. Palate: Light body, average carbonation, some warming from alcohol, but not very brazen. Overall: That wasnt bad beer, I supposed, that it would be way worse. Its main problem is lack of intensity, lack of roasty notes.

Barwa ciemnorubinowa z przebłyskami- troche zbyt jasna. Aromat niezbyt intensywny, przede wszystkim karmel, dalej palone słody oraz melanoidyny. W smaku karmel, kawa, czekolada, chlebowość, owoce. Niestety rwnież dość intensywna metaliczność, potwierdzona w teście skrnym. Piwo jest raczej słodkie, goryczka średnia do niskiej. Zdecydowanie brakuje ciała. Przywodzi trochę na myśl koźlaka albo ciemnego lagera. Bardzo przeciętny porter.

Old review written before making ratebeer account. Strong, noticeable alcohol, I prefer subtler ones.

Barwa dosyć za jasna, brunatna, średnia piana, szybko zanika. Aromat karmelowy, suszone owoce, likier. W smaku czuć karmel, alkohol. Brakuje ciała, lekka kwasowość, większa słodycz, goryczka średnia. Lekkie żelazo jest, ale mało wyczuwalne. Przeciętniak

NOTE: I am not sure if rating correct beer (my label: Porter Bałtycki, Witnicki Porter, Lubuskie). Bottle 330ml. Pours dark ruby, almost black, beige head with small bubbles, rich but dessipates to nothing. No lacing. Poor nose of caramel, light coffee, not as much roastiness as the style suggests. Mouth does not pimp the rates up too much. Extremally sweet, caramel. Iron is here:) Sticky, but watery. Astringent. Boozy aftertaste. Not too porter-like, rather a bock do we get. Lacks roastiness, body and power of baltic porter. JUICE:)

A dark brown porter with a thin dark mocha head. In aroma, sweet fruity chocolate malt with caramel notes, dark fruits, molasses, OK. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity caramel and chocolate with coffee notes, grassy hops, light oily mouth feel, nice and smooth. Bottle was 3 years old.

Piwo o bawrie czarnej z refleksami. Piana niezbyt obfita, zanikająca. Aromat karmel, czekolada, kawa, w tle zelazo i ciemne owoce. W smaku słodkie, nawet bardzo słabe o niskiej goryczce. Trochę brak ciała, jest ono najwyżej średnie. Pijalne, wysycenie niskie.

Bottle. Black in colour with a Reddish Tinge. Strong Roast Coffee Flavour. Malty (roast malts, but not burnt, lots of coffee, liquorice, hint of chocolate, caramel & toffee). Sweet roast malty. No bitterness. Alcohol not evident in the taste, but very warming in its effect. Very drinkable. Liked it! (2008)

Bottle. Aroma- mainly coffee, with some cocoa and chocolate cake notes. Pleasant, but could be stronger. Dark brown, clear with classy head. Taste- balance between cocoa and dark maltyness. At the begginning, its sweet, but straight after, comes delicate bitterness. It feels a bit empty in the aftertaste (but its just 18,1 Blg). Low carbonation, medium bodied. I expected this Baltic Porter to be quite weak, but as it turns out, its a tasty beer..
