phillybass (117) - Pennsylvania, USA - FEB 25, 2013
An excellent example of a true porter. Plenty of toasty malt flavor and aroma. Dark red in color. No head. Round palate. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Svart i färgen med beige skum. Doftar rostad malt, söta mörka chokladpraliner, Kaffe och lite lakrits. Alkoholen kommer på slutet.

Capa (3336) - Kitsap, Washington, USA - FEB 18, 2013
Dark brown with a creamy tan head. Aroma is caramel, chocolate, toasted malts, vanilla, fruit. Medium bodied. Flavor is caramel, chocolate, light sour fruit, vanilla, dark fruit. Well hidden alcohol. Surprisingly tasty. A bargain at <$3 for a pint bottle. Not an intense baltic porter but a nice, easy going baltic. Good beer.

Wow. caramel, sweet malt, chocolate, molasses- The high alcohol is completely masked by the sweet satisfying flavor. This is a great drinking porter! Don’t let the price fool you! This is inexpensive excellence. And, a FULL PINT of easy drinking 9.4 ABV for a little over a buck and a half is really a "no-brainer".

Dark brown translucent color. Tastes of roasted malts and hops. went down well and the 9.4% alc was nicely masked.

RABinCO (1511) - Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA - DEC 27, 2012
500ml bottle. Pours dark brown, closer to a brown ale than stout. Small tan head dissipates quickly. Aroma is sweet, chocolate, coffee, prunes, liquorice. Taste is very much the same. Dry, but sweet with big liqourice hits. A little bit of alcohol burn, but very smooth drinking.

Brewbie (479) - New York, USA - DEC 1, 2012
500 ml bottle. ruby colored pour, very thin tan head. dusty cocoa aroma, taste. wow very different first taste, heavy on the chocolate, sweet. very roasty finish

MadRobin (2988) - Silver Spring, Maryland, USA - NOV 21, 2012
Poured from 500 ml bottle. Clear, dark raspberry-mahogany with 1+1/2 finger khaki head and good lacing. Aroma of roasted malt, molasses and dark fruit.. Taste of sweet roasted malt, cola, milk chocolate, molasses, dark fruit, brown sugar and a touch of espresso. Medium/light body and and high/medium carbonation. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

OnWisconsin (132) - Wisconsin, USA - OCT 30, 2012
Head dissipated quickly with a dark black color. Carbonation is perfect for a porter. Just enough to add to the mild smooth taste. Has a very fine sweetness in the middle. Can taste a molasses in the middle. Very little if any IBUs detected. Almost a cola taste at the finish. Not sure if this can age well but going to try!!

beerbastard (844) - Mesa, Arizona, USA - OCT 13, 2012
Pours black with a lite tan colored head that tried to stick to the sides of the glass. At first I had some faint hop aromas, but the caramel and toffee takes over. Toffee and molasses flavors, mild sweetness with some licorice. Mild sweetness with some bitterness balance. Clean finish, alcohol well hidden. Easy to drink.
