Pours a deep brown, very small fizzy head which quickly dissipates. Sweet, lightly roasted, malty and alcoholic aroma, very pleasing. Coffee and fruit, ending with chocolate sweetness; very little bitterness. Starts out nice on the palate but the body quickly thins out. Very drinkable..

Poured from Bottle into Pint glass. Pours a dense black that has some slight deep copper edging with a light cocoa colored head that quickly dissolves into a nice layer atop the glass. The aroma has mostly sweet chocolate and is accompanied by some roasted malts. The flavor has more roasted malts, a lot of milk chocolate and a very light bitterness. Its a very light bodied porter with the right amount of carbonation. This is a pretty watery porter that leaves you needing much more flavor and the aroma is a dominated by too much chocolate.

Head dissipated quickly with a dark black color. Carbonation is perfect for a porter. Just enough to add to the mild smooth taste. Has a very fine sweetness in the middle. Can taste a molasses in the middle. Very little if any IBUs detected. Almost a cola taste at the finish. Not sure if this can age well but going to try!!

WOW alcohol screams in an loud voice "I’m here" ! Dark mohogany color with a off-white tannish head. Licorice notes mingle with malt and a slightly astringent note (possibly alcohol) Great price, but I probably will not buy again.

Pours nice dark brown with a tan head. Aroma is musty, earthy with some molasses. Flavor is pretty sweet. Alcohol is prominent but not as much as it could be. Fruity after a while. Finish has the good earth tones. It is a little thick on the tongue halfway down the glass, but not bad. It’s probably not one that I’ll pick up again, but I wouldn’t be opposed to drinking it.

From a 1 pint nine fluid oz bottle. Nice deep reddish brown color and very clear. The aroma is of licorice and very pleasant. The taste is a bit cloying but not in a bad way. Reminds me of a chocolate liquor almost. Heavy alcohol note although not distracting. Overall a nice porter that will go into the occasional rotation.
