Pour on tap at the brewery, dark brownish black pour with thin tan head, aroma brought notes of dark berry, cherry, hints of dark fruits, roast, slight vinegar and oak in there as well, vinous notes come through. Taste is a mix of acetic, slight sour cherry, blackberry, hints of roast, slight oak and vanilla, moving into dark fruits and vinous notes, finishing fairly sour slightly bitter. Nice and tasty
Actually a sour Porter. On tap at Hops and Pie poured a clear dark reddish brown with a small lingering tan head. Aromas of sour grapes, roastiness and light citrus. Palate was light bodied and crisp with a dy tart finish. Flavors of roastiness, sour citrus and earthiness with a crisp dry tart lingering roasty sour citrus finish. On tap at the brewpub. Pour is deep brown, almost black with a small tan head that quickly dissipated. Tannic, slightly roasty, dark fruit, grapey, red wine, woody, and tart fruity aroma. Taste is cocoa, slightly roasty, red gapes, tannic, a hint of red wine vinegar, acidic, and herbal with a medium tart finish. Slick mouthfeel with soft carbonation. Tap @ Black Bottle. Pours a dark brown appearance with a thin brown head. Cherry, blackberry, oaky, red grape vinous, somewhat funky aroma. Lightly tart, plum, cranberry, cherry, a bit tannic, slight woody flavor. Maybe a little young but shows some promise.

On tap at BBB. Reddish brown with an off-white head. The aroma is wood, red wine and tart fruit. Similar flavor, not very sour and lightly bitter, lots of wine. Medium body with a smooth feel and a dry finish.
