It is hazy, crisp, and very smooth. The traditional spices come through, with a hint of citrus flavor and aroma. Available in the Summer.

Draft pour. Pours a hazy copper with a white head of foam. Fruity and floral. Bitter and floral taste. Light body and low carbonation.

High amounts of coriander. Not quite enough sweet notes to balance the flavor.

I have found my new favorite! Enjoyable and mildly complex flavor with a crisp aroma. Citrus accents very present in the nose but not overpowering the rest of the flavors in the taste. Starts smooth and finishes smooth. No pour, drank straight from the bottle so appearance and head cannot be properly accounted for.

Dogbrick (13010) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - JUL 1, 2013
Sample at Smiling Skull as part of Ohio Brew Week. This brew pours a hazed straw color with a thin white head that evaporates quickly to an outer ring. Spotty lacing. Aroma of wheat, spice and fruit. Light-bodied with flavors of banana, cloves and a touch of hops. The finish is wheaty with a citrus aftertaste. Above average overall.

On tap during Ohio Brew Week 2013, taster from Smiling Skull. Was under the Black Box label, I believe. Zesty, citrus peel hops. Some thai type spice. Little banana. Clear golden yellow color. Minimal white head. Medium-plus body. Lighter, more crisp carbonation. More dry finish. Good, sweet, lightly tangy taste. Some nice, complex citrus character. Pretty good, enjoyable stuff.

My second favorite summer beer topped only by Bell’s Oberon. This dreamy belgium white is complex with a strong citrus taste that is incrediably smoothe. This comes with my highest recommendation and I am sure funk will agree with me.

Orange, tang and hops. This is a good and ballsy brew. It’s odd and a bit compromised in its lack of integration of coriander and possibly other spice. It’s a bit too blunt and obvious. It’s unique and enjoyable however. It finishes with a long bitter.

Has a tangy bite to it. Fruity and smooth taste. Good American version of a belgian white.
