Black Creek - Irish Potato Stout Very dark pour. Little head Smells wet. After all the super rich and scent filled brews I’ve had tonight this just smells like nothing. Wait there is some earthiness. Very rich deep earth taste a bit sweet. Malty. More thsn a bit sweet. Filling. Feels like a meal in a bottle. Not bag at all. A solid Canadian brew

Pours black with a small beige head that leaves some lacing. Charcoal, coffee and roasted malts aroma. Roasted malts and earthy flavours. Suprisingly light body. Good beer, but I expected a thicker body and would have liked deeper flavours.

Bottled. The aroma is charred. The taste is very charred, a bit like smoked fish. Strange but quite good!

QcBeer (195) - Quebec, CANADA - DEC 7, 2015
Enjoy!

The beer pours a solid blackish brown with a thin creamy short-lived dark brown head that dissipates to nothing. The aroma is roasted malt, coffee, and weak raw potato notes. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with average carbonation. The flavour is roasted malt with weak hints of coffee, licorice, and potato.

Hammy78 (975) - Dundas, Ontario, CANADA - MAR 22, 2015
Bottle from my brother in-law. Pours an opaque colour, minimal to no head that is nothing but a ring, some tiny presence of lacing. Nose is roasted malt. Tastes sweet, malty, not much present other than that.

[6568-20140801] Bottle. Toasted potato skin aroma. Black cola body with a quick foamy off-white head. Roasted grain and potato skin flavour. Full body. Good. (7+/3/8/3/14) 3.5

jercraigs (10886) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - AUG 4, 2014
2014-08-01. Black body with a small tan head. 3+ Aroma is relatively mild, lightly roasty. Flavour is mild, dark malt core, light roast, muted herbal anise undertones. Average bodied palate, soft carbonation. Okay, not a ton going on but decent. Bottle from the LCBO, Toronto
