Pours no head whatsoever and has a hazy orange/amber appearance. Pumpkin spice aromas are dominant. Flavours are also of pumpkin spice. Some pretty noticeable notes of nutmeg and more spices. Has a watery mouthfeel. Not really the pumpkin ale you want to recommend to newbies. azzurro (281) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - APR 12, 2017
Taste of pumpkin is overpowering. Taste is too far off from an ale, just not my type (yet?). ChadPoole (478) - Ontario, CANADA - OCT 19, 2016
Pours cloudy amber with a small off white head. Aroma is pumpkin pie spices with a lot of nutmeg. It has a creamy body with a pungent fermented fruit taste. Interesting KansaiBeerLvrs (5191) - Kyoto, JAPAN - SEP 3, 2016
First pumpkin beer of the season is an award winner (2015 Gold Ontario Brewing Awards) from Black Creek brewing in Toronto.
5% for a beautiful Amber with minimal foam. It's got a really nice spice aroma with cinnamon, nutmeg and coriander plus rich malt/pumpkin.
Medium bodied and dry with good sweetness like yams, caramel, nutmeg and a rich spiciness. Really good stuff.

Bottle, pours a deep dark orangey brown with a small beige head. Aroma brings out lots of cinnamon, nutmeg and ginger. Flavour is along the same lines, with cinnamon, nutmeg and ginger, with a little toffee in there. Pretty boring, but competently done I suppose. Just not exciting.

Brown color, small head. Some aroma of spices, alcohol, cookies. Dry mouthfeel, thin body, very shallow flavor, and some spices.
Not very good.
Gylden brun noe tåkete med lavt beige skum. Lukter gresskar, nellik og rett å slett julelukter. Middels fyldig, krydder, noe karamellsødme. Kort litt pepperig kort avslutning. KoNrRiI (1553) - Århus, DENMARK - OCT 16, 2015
Clear, light brown color and virtually no head. Aroma of pumpkin and spices - it has to be noted that the pumpkin actually smells genuine. Taste is sweet, spicy, vegetable-like; once again the overwhelming pumpkin flavor is rather authentic and does not seem artificially obtained with chemicals. Medium body, slick texture, and soft carbonation. Finish is medium long and filled with a vegetable flavor. Overall not a bad beer, certainly is more bona fide than the other pumpkin ales I had the pleasure of tasting. dfearnley (2199) - Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - OCT 15, 2015

Pumpkin...I love it when a pumpkin ale actually has pumpkin in the brewing process. There’s a pumpkin aroma, nutmeg, ginger, and malt. Pours a slightly hazy deep reddish amber with a thin, but short lived, off white head. There’s some lazy carbonation around the edges. The taste is gourdy, not distinctly pumpkin, a little sour, and malty with ginger at the end. The taste does not live up the the original aroma. In fact, the sour aspect was quite surprising, although not a detraction.
