Brewed at Trafalgar. The new beer captures the essence of pumpkin pie that’s rich in aroma and spicy in flavour. The beer uses real pumpkin in the brew kettle and is infused with a blend of spices including nutmeg, ginger and cinnamon prior to fermentation. The result is golden ale heady in spices and flavor.

Bottled. An amber beer with a beige head. The aroma has notes of malt and caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of caramel, malt, and alcohol, leading to a bitter finish.

50 cl bottle. Pours clear and golden orange with a small tan head. Aroma is solid nutmeg spiced. Caramelish, spiced and dry. Herbal and toasted malty. Dry, toasted and bitter, spiced finish.

500ml bottle. Pours a hazy, caramel with a half finger, off white head that thins quickly. Aroma is a big pumpkin pie spice. Taste is balanced with mild pumpkin and pie spices. Medium body with a low, nearly flat, carbonation. Clean in the mouth with a slightly dry finish. Overall it smells better than it tastes. Needs a stronger flavour and higher carbonation.

Pours a dark brownish copper. Virtually no head. Aromas are more towards the spices in pumpkin pie, cinnamon and nutmeg than actual pumpkin. Tastes are of caramel malts, blended with light pumpkin. A little toffee, and sweet breads on the finish.

Red ruby/amber body with a minimal head which dissolved quickly. Aromas of ginger, cinnamon, nutmeg, pumpkin, vanilla, cereal, and some pepper. Low carbonation and minimal perceived bitterness. Medium to full bodied which leaves it not very sessionable,

500 mL Bottle. Amber-ruby body with a 2-finger off-white foamy head settling to a foamy film leaving lots of stringy lace. Aroma of pumpkin pie out of the oven as well as sweet malts, a hint of butterscotch, and floral hops. The flavor does intrigue me with the combo of sweet malts twinning with mild pumpkin, there is a celery-like aftertaste that "matures" to the ginger that it really comes from. Nutmeg and a soupçon of cinnamon follow and taper off to a very mild cream cheese finish, then to a cleanness that invites another sip.

Smooth, tasty pumpkin ale. Fantastic colour with quite a bit noticeable pumpkin. Very enjoyable for a relaxing evening

Bottle LCBO: orange brown with small head. Smells like pumpkin pie with some grassy notes. Mellow, balanced taste is spicy- cinnamon, nutmeg- with pumpkin. A little earthy with a nice bitter end. Solid seasonal.

In bottle from LCBO .. not bad, nice balance of pumpkin and spice. Better than some of the other options available .. I would consider buying again

Bottle. Spicy gingerbread aroma with a little clove and brown sugar. Dark yellow under some of white lace. Faintly bitter ginger and brown sugar. Delicate. Light body, moderate carbonation, slight lingering bitterness.
