Bottle - 500ml. Amber body with average carbonation and a thin, fading, off-white foamy/bubbly head. Decent malty/hoppy aroma with spicy and pumpkin hints. Taste is well balanced but it could be a bit stronger. Pumpkin and grassy notes are noticeable. Ends with a short bitter/herbal finish. Not bad, but rather ordinary. samzim (434) - Ontario, CANADA - SEP 28, 2013
UPDATED: SEP 29, 2013 Spicy aroma with notes of clove. Hazy clear orange colour. Flavours of pumpkin, cinnamon, and cough syrup. Medium body. Not the best pumpkin ale i’ve tried. Canmoore (484) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - SEP 13, 2013
UPDATED: SEP 19, 2014 This is a re-rating, as the first time I tried it I believe the beer had gone bad.
Pours a rich amber colour, with basically no head at all. Aroma is pleasant with notes of nutmeg, cinnamon, ginger, allspice, and pumpkin. Tasting notes include distinct pumpkin, with notes of ginger/nutmeg/cloves. Fantastic seasonal, and much better than my first go around with this brew! Bottle, shared with TylerDurden and my wife. Burnt orange body, average off white head. Sweet spicy pumpkin pie nose, lots of nutmeg. Toffee and spices, and definite PUMPKIN character which I really enjoyed. Much better than expected. robinvboyer (4719) - Sturgeon Falls, Ontario, CANADA - AUG 13, 2013
found this rating in my backlog.
Another unremarkable, but not awful offering from black creek. It’s well made, but its boring. Light spices, cinnamon, cloves, sweet pumpkin. medium bitterness, mineral, spicy finish.

UPDATED: MAY 4, 2014 I actually found this beer enjoyable. Nothing crazy or outstanding but I would buy it again. TheJester (2542) - Cavan Monaghan, Ontario, CANADA - FEB 17, 2013
500 mL bottle. The latest offering in this brewery’s line of solid if unspectacular offerings. Not over-spiced, which is good, because I don’t like super spicy pumpkin beers. Just not a style I’ve ever learned to appreciate. Lubiere (14110) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - JAN 13, 2013
A orange amber ale with a thin forthy off white head. In aroma, loads of caramel, nutty notes, light spices, cinnamon and butterscotch. In mouth, a nice caramel malt with ginger and cinnamon, grassy notes, actually not bad. Bottle from LCBO. mabel (9246) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - DEC 31, 2012
[5037-20121230] 500mL bottle. Floral sweet candied soap aroma. Clear, orange brown body with a quick creamy light tan head. Toasted herbal corn fruit and light straw grains in the flavour with a nice sweet aftertaste. Medium body. Would not have placed the spiced pumpkin without knowing first it was there. Overheard: "Actually, I’m super shy. It’s fxcking weird."
2012-12-30. Fairly crisp dark orange, very small frothy off-white head. Modest spicey aroma is lightly muddled but pleasant. Nutmeg? 6+ Flavour is similarly moderately spicey, muted sweet pumpkin and malt, moderate bitterness throughout, I suspect from the spices more than hops. Smooth average plus palate is lightly under carbonated but suits it otherwise. Decent, enjoyable but a bit dull. Bottle from the LCBO
