COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Brewed at Trafalgar. The new beer captures the essence of pumpkin pie that’s rich in aroma and spicy in flavour. The beer uses real pumpkin in the brew kettle and is infused with a blend of spices including nutmeg, ginger and cinnamon prior to fermentation. The result is golden ale heady in spices and flavor.

500 ml bottle. Pours a clear amber with a short lasting white head. Smell is cloves and cinnamon. Taste is cloves, cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, lemon. Excellent. Finish is spicy, not much bitterness per se. Medium to strong body, soft mouthfeel. Good pumpkin ale.

Hazy orange pour with pretty much no head. Watery spice in the scent. Lots of pumpkin in the mouth though followed by a rush of cinnamon and other spices. Wow that goes down well. Very refreshing. One of the best pumpkin Ales I’ve tried. Great Job Black Creek.

This pumpkin ale poured a deep amber colour with a soapy, white head. No lacing. To the nose there are scents of pumpkin, corriander, all spice, vanilla and very light smoke? First sip was very thin and watery, flavours of pumkin and spice not overwhelming but flavourful. Finish was almost buttery tasting with the light burnt/smokey flavour bearly tastable.

Bottle from the LCBO. Pours a reddish orange with nearly no head and a tiny amount of active carbonation. Smell is super sweet like raw sugar and a bit of pumpkin and cinnamon. Palate is on the light side of medium bodied and not a whole lot of carbonation. Taste is sweet at first but then gets a bit of a spice flavour in there. Aftertaste is a bit sweet. Not that great overall.

Unexceptional pumpkin ale. Yes, pumpkin aroma with a nominal amount of spice. A little orange, no retained head.Lighter mouthfeel.A little nutmeg and pepper.

pours almost clear copper-orange with a decent white head, little retention. decent pale and lightly toasted malts, hint of sweetness, pumpkin, bubblegum, and too much spices. light body - lacking, average carbonation - prickly. short grassy and bland finish.

500 ml bottle from LCBO, served at cellar temperature in a tulip glass.

App.: Clear deep copper with a nice orange-tan head. Aroma: Sticky sweet malts, clove, cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, caramel, toffee, almost a milky note?, pumpkin pie with whipped cream? Palate: Medium+ body, somewhat relaxed effervescence. Flav.: Much like the nose – plenty of sticky sweet malts and pumpkin spices that don’t overwhelm; dry with a little bitterness and a nice, toffee/treacle, rye bread crust finish.

This pumpkin beer suits my palate.

1/2 liter bottle: pours an orangey-amber hazed ale in the glass - 2 finger tight-pored off white cap lasts well, laces the glass. Moderate carbonation. Aromas of musty pumpkin shell and toasty-bready malts, a hint of sweetness, some grassyness. Medium bodied, demure rounded character. Flavor is a very pleasing pumpkin and caramalt blend in the front, some tostiness, some spice, some hop bittering to balance, this intensifies a bit going to a lingering balanced finish. A substantial pumpkin ale flavourful but demure without being understated - a very drinkable pumpkin brew. I like it.
