12 oz bottle thanks to bhensonb. Pours a clear amber color with a medium white head. The aroma is full of rich caramel malts and piny hops. The flavor was initially quite bitter pine like hops, rich caramel malt throughout, and later a more citrus/sweet hop profile. Very nice and quaffable. raphael (1311) - Portland, Oregon, USA - MAY 24, 2009
Bottle from Belmont Station.
‘Soapy’ is my noses first impression, then powdered sugar, resin and lemon, flavors of resin, caramel, smoked malt, lemon rind. clear, slightly greenish amber, with frothy head of modest duration, a little heavier in the mouth then expected. oily bitter finish.

Bottle from BevMo in Walnut Creek, CA. Pours a clear orange amber with a little white head. Equal aromas of caramel and citrus and floral hop. Medium body with mild carbonation. Citrus aspects make it seem a bit tart. Astringent, even. Finish is puckerish and hoppy bitter. Good IPA.
