COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
What compels a journey- Beyond the realm of possibilities? Peak XV- The Earths highest mountain- Was first measured in 1856, then renamed Mt. Everest nine years later. In 20 years the ascent was proposed, but it would be another 68 years (and several unsuccessful attempts later) before the summit was finally reached. In admiration of the human spirit and the courage required to accomplish this supreme feat, we offer this dark towering brew. Subtle undertones of vanilla are brought forth using multiple sources of whole vanilla beans, followed by a stupendous nose of dark chocolate - Provided by locally sourced cacao nibs. The flavor is massive chocolate, creamy vanilla, toasty and malty. The finish is epic.

Fairly solid but a little weird. Had a wine-like sourness. Other than that, very strong vanilla and chocolate flavors make this is decent porter.

Growler, almost black beer, decent walnut colored head faded to a skiff, some lace. Aroma is vanilla, molasses, chocolate, cookies. Taste is chocolate, cookies, dried cherries, coffee. Palate is rich and smooth, carbonation moderate. As usual, the longer I drink this the more I like it. I love the sour cherry edge. Uprating.

Bomber poured into a pint glass dark brown with thin mocha head, barely any lacing. The aroma is of pure vanilla bean and dark chocolate, dark fruit and cocoa. The flavors are more of the same in a rich delicious blend. Would recommend this one to friends!

Nice big porter. Vanilla dominates and almost gives it a weird coconut aroma. Plenty of chocolate. A mild bitterness. Solid.

Bottle poured and split. Pours a near black with a tan ring head. Big vanilla bean aroma. Rich malt, cinnamon, chocolate, and vanilla. Like German chocolate cake. A little coconut. Tasty porter for sure.
