Had this at a share. Pours a dark black oil like, with tan head. Whiskey, oak, chocolate, vanilla, and roasted malts on the nose; follows onto the palate. Finishes with a nice toffee like sweetness. UDBeernut (2883) - Saint Johns, Florida, USA - FEB 2, 2014
black hue, thin tan head. bourbon, chocolate dominate nose and mouth. body is medium and creamy. sweetness coats the palate. yum. luttonm (6166) - Seattle, Washington, USA - JAN 12, 2014
Draft at Uber in Seattle. Good retention on this pretty brown head. Dark brown beer. Good fruity porter, bourbon alcohol sweetness. Solid big beer, but I’m getting a little tired of the over-oaked/vanilla flavor in this style of beer. BillKismet (4041) - Seattle, Washington, USA - JAN 11, 2014
Black cola body, with an okay ring of head. Delicious butter-bourbon and vanilla-coconut aroma. The body is sweet coconut punctuated by waves of vanilla. Strong and sweet--could use some more age/attenuation. trevor211 (1681) - Seattle, Washington, USA - JAN 11, 2014
Black pour. Wet bourbon nose. Chocolate malts that meld into tootsie roll finish. Not too much bourbon. Very sweet. Smooth. Pretty darn tasty!

Pours black with a thin tan head. Aroma has nice smooth bourbon, toasted coconut, brown sugar, vanilla and chocolate. Flavor has dark chocolate and coconut atop bourbon and vanilla...roastiness turns fairly bitter. Mouthfeel is light and creamy with a roasty/bitter/coconut almost espresso finish. anders37 (26194) - Malmö, SWEDEN - MAY 20, 2013
Bottle. Pours a black color with a small off-white head. Has a roasted malty woody chocolate aroma. Roasted malty woody bourbon vanilla and chocolate flavor. Has a roasted malty woody chocolate and vanilla finish. Ibrew2or3 (8607) - Tempe, Arizona, USA - MAY 17, 2013
Woodshed 2.0. Bottle share courtesy of Sparky. It pours with a mahogany looking body that supports a tan head of foam. The aroma offers up sweet vanilla and sweet whiskey to go along with a malt sweetened dark roasted maltiness. The taste is all smooth and sweet whiskey that gets a touch harsh toward midway. I also get dark roasted malts and some chocolate brownie to help even out the boozy barrel notes. Nice sipper. daknole (11044) - Scottsdale, Arizona, USA - APR 28, 2013
Nice dark brown pour with a light brown head. Flavors of booze, toasted oak, chocolate, vanilla, roasted malt and maybe a light hint of coffee. A tad thin, boozy but tasty. BOLTZ7555 (3027) - Phoenix, Arizona, USA - APR 21, 2013
Bottle shared by Sparky @ Woodshed 2.0! Nice dark mahogany pour with a small latte head. Mocha, dark chocolate, brown sugar, caramel, vanilla, oak, and a hint of whisky. Wish the whisky was a bit more prominent. Wish this one had a bit more body and was more assertive. Still tasty.
