God, it's a long time since I've had such a sweet caramelly fruity American IPA. Cloudy orange, head settles to a scummy splat. Taste identical to aroma, sugary sweet caramelly taste, fruity hops, some dustiness and dishcloth. Dry bitter finish. Yarp, I was never convinced by sweet US IPAs when I first had them, and this throwback reminds me why. Way too sickly sweet.

(bottle, 35.5cl) Hazy, deep golden colour with a short and off-white foamy head. Juicy malty and moderately earthy, piney and mildly fruity hops, including notes of fruit salad. Moderately bitter and slightly sweet flavour, medium bodied with a modest carbonation. Juicy malty base with present resiny, fruity and slightly grassy hops, including notes of grapefruit and fruit salad; bitter-sweet and quite lasting finish. Decent. 17.VII.17

Was past due date for almost a year. Very classical nose of north american hops. Body was a bit more round than your standard IPA. Hints of orange. Big bitterness with a citrus fruity finish. Quite standard except its roundness and really easy/pleasant to drink.

12 oz bottle. Bottled on Nov/15. From beerrepublic.eu.
Hazy amberish golden color with a small to medium size foamy white head. Piney and resiny hops, mild bitterness, dryness and some balancing maltiness in the aroma. The flavor is dry piney, resiny and grassy hops, moderate bitterness, dryness and some maltiness. Pretty alright being really old bottle.

Bottle:   Nice head and lacing.   Fairly bright, citrusy, light floral spices.   Not as pale in color as other White IPAs, but its clean, bitter, with a soft spiced background.   Moderate to full body and mouthfeel.   Clean finish, hoppy without being too bitter, but its not as spicy as the start.   Ramp that up a bit and then you would really have something.
