Tap at the brewpub. Pours copper with a creamy beige head. Aroma seems quite citrus. Medium body. Flavor is quite hoppy. More like an IPA with excessive caramel than an amber. Lightly bitter finish. Better (for me) than most ambers.

On draft at the brewery. It pours a rather dark amber color with an off white head. The aroma is sweet plum, bread and strawberries. The flavor is intense with some piney bitterness, toasty and lightly fruity malt. A bit rough in the finish. Tastes bigger than it is. marcus (10232) - Sacramento, California, USA - SEP 24, 2012
From keg at the Davis Beerfest. Pours golden with some floating chunks, a nice beige head and a light floral aroma. There is a dry pale malt flavor with a slightly bitter finish.
