On tap at the brewery. It pours a clear gold color with a lasting white head. The aroma is over the top with sweet blueberry muffins. The kind you get at the gas station wrapped in plastic. Weird. The flavor is a touch more balanced with blueberry and what tastes like a pale ale base. Fairly strong bitterness for a fruit beer. Smooth body with a clean, neutral maltiness. If you can get past the aroma, it’s not too bad. marcus (10472) - Sacramento, California, USA - JUN 1, 2013
On tap at Davis BeerFest. Pours clear blonde with a modes off-white head and a fruity aroma. There is a bitter strawberry light malt flavor with little else. bhensonb (15493) - Woodland, California, USA - NOV 3, 2012
Pours hazy dark gold with a white head. Nice blueberry aroma. Not to strong. Not to light. Just right. Med body. Flavor is moderate blueberry. It’s really well done. Could be the best blueberry I’ve ever had. The fruit works with the grain (barley - not wheat). It’s that rare thing - a drinkable blueberry beer.
