Our Brewhaus' interpretation of the world's most popular beer style. The Pils is pale-straw in color with a high flavoring of German noble hops and a clean, dry finish. Aged in our lagering tanks for over seven weeks for a smooth, mature body. Great with almost any dish.

Clean and aroma-less. Really unpleasant aftertaste. Reminded me of a light beer which was overhopped. Just pass on it. Don’t drink it. Save yourself the agony.

On tap at the brewery. Pours a fairly clear gold with a thin white head. Crackery grain on the nose. Medium bodied, grainy and sweet. Crackery and grainy. Light and crisp, grainy bitterness into the finish.

Location: Draft at the Brewpub, 8/13/14

Aroma: Aroma is straw, grassy German hops, bread, and some pale malts
Appearance: It pours a mostly clear golden color with a small white head and light lace
Flavor: The taste is clean and balanced, light sweetness, and a crisp, light bitterness
Palate: Light-medium bodied, easy drinking, with an average-plus carbonation, and a clean finish
Overall Impression: This is a pretty solid, easy drinking Pilsener. I found this to be a good drinking beer with a solid flavor and a good feel. I liked it.

Pour a light straw yellow with fizzy white lacing. Aroma is straw, cereal and corn. Flavor is moderately sweet with a slight bitterness upon finish. Mildly metallic on final impression

On tap at the Brewpub. Pours a light golden color with a nice full body for a pilsner. Grassy aroma. Very nice hop layer.

.5l mug draft at the brewpub in Farmingdale, New York. Pour is a lightly hazed yellow golden, with a pure white one inch head. Pretty carbonation bubbles rise to the top of the glass throughout. Aroma is a faint, cracker toasted malt along with some light citrus. Taste is the clean cracker malt, along with a bright citrus that leads to a mild clove and grassiness. Classic german pils flavors, clean, nice integration. Palate is light bodied, un filtered mouth feel, with a dry mineral finish. Nice one.

Across the board typical of the style, although it is fairly nicely done. The appearance is clear straw gold, white head. The aroma is grassy, malty, sweet. The flavor follows the aroma almost exactly. Dry, hopppy finish. Decent pils.

Tap at BF. Aroma lemony with bitter, grassy hops, doughy, lightly grainy malt. Flavor has some pretty big bitterness on a biscuit malt base with increasing grain presence as it warms. Dank hops on the back end. Crisp finish of course. Really nice.

LilBeerDoctor (4231) - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - MAR 8, 2009
On tap at the brewpub. Pours a slightly cloudy yellow with a small white head. Aroma of sweet malt, light fruits, and wheat. Flavor is mostly of wheat malt with sweet malt and a touch of bitter hops in the finish. Easy to drink and quite pleasant. 7/4/7/4/15 (3.7/5)
