We have been very bad about ratings but really good at buying beer at Elm City. This one pours an orangey color with an aroma of citrus and pine. The taste is full of nice rich hops with some lemon, and the palate is, as the name suggests, an easy one. Totally would be good to drink with cheese. Good for getting ready for date night and listening to atmospheric music with your booboo. 17Beer (465) - Connecticut, USA - JUL 6, 2017
Scents of hops piney and light. Pours orange with a big persistent white head. Almost no lacing. Tastes of apricot with a bitter rye finish. Slick mouthfeel. Well made. George999 (485) - Colorado, USA - FEB 11, 2017
Can - blond and slightly cloudy with a medium thick head that is off white. The aroma is sweet and hoppy. The taste is initially bitter, with a rye after taste. Overall there is a lingering bitterness that is normal for a rye beer. johnnnniee (4459) - Bedford, New Hampshire, USA - DEC 7, 2016
Can from Kelly and Paul, thanks again.
Hazy light golden orange with a decent sized tightly bubbled frothy white head. Spicy rye and earthy grassy hops on the nose. More earthy grassy hop flavor with that tart spicy rye character and a hint of sweet bready malt. Medium to thin body moderate carbonation. Pretty tasty for a session IPA, not my favorite style, but the rye adds a nice kick to it. jgb9348 (6640) - Arlington (Pentagon City), Virginia, USA - NOV 7, 2016
Super hazy copper and light amber coloured body with a copper tint and a nice, two centimetre tall off-white head. When popping open the can, it exploded and left some beer on the table. Aroma of resin, hay, grass, alcohol, oatmeal, rye and way more bittering hops - a lot there in the nose. Light-bodied; Sharp pungent flavour of rubbing alcohol, rye, grain, toast, bitter hops, resin and a lot of earth - super pungent hops and a smooth texture on the back-end. Aftertaste shows the bitter hops along with the very earthy flavours, some of the light alcohol and toffee sweetness, but no body nor smooth flavours - this is up in the face, even with a hop straight flavour. Overall, a decent Light IPA that really shows off the rye and specialty grains with a bitter and very earthy flavour that doesn’t have any malt body, just the flavours of this malt (rye) and the bitter hops. I sampled this twelve ounce can purchased from New Beer Distributors in New York, New York on 02-July-2016 for US$2,25 sampled at home in Washington on 06-November-2016. My can clearly states 4,8% abv and at the bottom of the can shows: 03/29/16 and ’Merica listed.

Draught @ Albion. Murky dark orange with off-white foamy head, faint citrus aroma, medium carbonation, medium bitter taste with rye in the background and citrus peel flavor, thin body, longish medium bitter finish. The rye is more dominant than the hops. after4ever (8025) - Mukilteo, Washington, USA - AUG 22, 2016
12-oz can. Thanks, N! Pours a murky dark amber with a loose off-white fizzy head. Big forward dry peppery rye nose. Darkly toasted grain husks, herbal hop notes. Creamy medium body with lively carb. Darkly toasted grain husk and peppery rye mid palate, very forward and dimensional, spicy herbal hop counterpoint. Long dry dark finish. tfontana (1222) - Fremont, New Hampshire, USA - AUG 5, 2016
Taster pour at Craft Beer Race New Haven. Appearance is hazy-to-cloudy light brown with finger width head with poor retention, nice lacing. Aroma is rye spiciness--borders on skunky--herbs. Taste is rye, herbs. Palate is light-to-medium bodied with thin texture, soft carbonation, finish like taste. Overall, rye dominates, which isn’t a bad thing, but not much else. 12oz can. Pours a hazy golden amber with a huge sudsy head that gushed out of the can and then quickly receded. Note of grapefruit and rye. A bit on the watery side but not bad. puboflyons (3560) - Allenstown, New Hampshire, USA - JUL 14, 2016
From the can. Heady, hazy orange amber pour. Fruity and grainy esters on the nose. Maybe pineapple. Smells clean. Low to medium body. The flavor has a more bitter end than the aroma suggests and the bitterness tends to be on the dry side. Same fruity and grainy notes in the flavor.
