Cask - Standing Order (JDW), Derby. Poured with a lasting, medium sized creamy beige head leaving a uniform lacing atop a clear ruby brown body. Sweet fruit, caramel notes & roasted malt aromas. Remains malt-forward on the tongue. Quite roasty and mildly fruity with a fairly decent finishing bitterness. Medium body & length finish, soft to medium palate texture. A solid, easily quaffable bitter. DanielBrown (4502) - Birmingham (via Leicester), West Midlands, ENGLAND - JUL 5, 2010
