Cask gravity at Ashford Rugby Club BF 2008. Clear chestnut, thin beige head. Malty fruity aroma. Rather good malty fruity best bitter. Some peppery hop on finish. Very tasty. Excellent fruit malt hop mix. imdownthepub (14791) - Banbury, Oxfordshire, ENGLAND - JUN 23, 2007
Cask conditioned at The Woolpack, Banbury. Chestnut colour with white head. I too quite liked this beer, richly roasted malt with a fruity, caramel background, there is a nutty 9hazelnut) character near the finish. Ends a little sweet, but the beer is fine. Hand pulled at the Prince of Wales, Moseley, Birmingham. Smooth, thin chestnut ale. Malty, quite lite with a little nutty choc. Pleasant. [what a boring review that was - Ed.] davidtjm (1074) - Berlin, GERMANY - JAN 15, 2014

Cask - Standing Order (JDW), Derby. Poured with a lasting, medium sized creamy beige head leaving a uniform lacing atop a clear ruby brown body. Sweet fruit, caramel notes & roasted malt aromas. Remains malt-forward on the tongue. Quite roasty and mildly fruity with a fairly decent finishing bitterness. Medium body & length finish, soft to medium palate texture. A solid, easily quaffable bitter.
